Chapter 5.1

Three days have passed since I accidentally showed up on the Internet. During the day I walked around the city and looked at the sights. By the way, they are slightly different in this world than in my New York.

The new St. Patrick's Cathedral is simply enormous and was a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, and the entire wall with huge stained glass windows behind the altar was completely decorated with human skulls.

I even went on a tour of the Stark Tower, striking in its futurism and huge photographs of Anita Stark (a very beautiful woman), although the tour did not go higher than the tenth floor for obvious reasons.

Central Park was also different, as if wild nature had won its corner in the urban world. In addition to the usual attention and random encounters with women, something else was added - young girls, schoolgirls and students looked at me more intently than usual and even sometimes pointed and whispered something.

I couldn't understand what it was about, my hearing had gotten better, but all that noise around me was preventing me from concentrating and hearing what I needed to hear.

And it turned out later, new topics on the New York forum about superhumans were called: "Does the Friendly Neighborhood Girl have an admirer?" and "Superheroines are taking all the men! How can we compete with them?"

There were photos and videos attached of me talking to Spider-Girl and treating her to chocolate. That's how the interest smoothly flowed from me as a "super" to me as a person. Hmm. In the evening, having closed the blinds on the windows, I trained the symbiote's abilities - I created and put away weapons for a while, used the tentacles.

Of course, I couldn't juggle them or carefully peel an apple yet, but I could grab and bring something to myself, both large and small. And several at once.

The excitement about the new "super" died down, and I decided to go out into the city again the next day, in the dark, I need to train among all these buildings, but today I still need to rest, and go shopping for groceries.

Returning from the shops with two full bags and a backpack on my back, full of various food (and chocolate, where would we be without it), I found an interesting picture - today's shift of two women was sitting at the security post, and Lisa, the security guard who tried her best to please me.

Now she was not dressed in her uniform, but in sneakers, short shorts and a tight sports top, her hair was also pulled back into a high ponytail.

Without these baggy pants and a T-shirt, you could see the girl's long and slender legs and flat, toned stomach. Apparently, the woman came to work to talk to her girlfriends. Seeing me, the three women simultaneously greeted each other, and Lisa, after a second's thought, headed towards me and held out her hands to the bags with purchases, I had to give them to her, convincing her that I myself could carry them to the apartment was absolutely useless, I was already convinced of this. Taking the bags, Lisa deliberately touched my fingers and slowly took the purchases.

- Mister Richter, I'm glad to see that healthy eating has done you good. You're almost unrecognizable - you've tightened up, your skin has acquired a healthy hue, and it suits you so well without the scar! - the woman flattered me under the muffled laughter of her colleagues.

- By the way, have you decided to accept my offer? I can't promise restaurant level, but I'll feed you something delicious, - Lisa smiled and looked at me coquettishly.

And the woman didn't give in, how many times had she already offered me this? I looked closely at the woman again - tall, fit, beautiful face, large breasts and hips, thin waist - such a person could only be a highly paid model in my home world, but here she is only slightly more beautiful than average. Hmm, why not accept her offer? I've looked around the city, I've more or less figured out the symbiote's abilities, I can have a little fun.

Besides, Alicia never called back, apparently something serious really did happen at work, and this will be a simple evening of dinner and chatting, maybe some wine, right?

- Yes. Are you free tonight? - Lisa continued to smile sweetly, but the two guards fell silent and stared at me.

- What? - the woman asked as if nothing had happened.

- I said yes, I agree to you demonstrating your culinary talents to me. Are you free tonight? Say, around six o'clock? You don't have to worry about the groceries, I have a lot of things, I'll have a choice of what to cook.

- Y-yes! Of course! - the woman almost shouted, smiling even wider and blushing slightly.

- I have things to do, but I'll finish them quickly! - Lisa nodded her head quickly.

- I'll run to do them right away! - the guard almost ran to the post to her colleagues, but halfway there she gasped and returned, returning the bags to me.

- Sorry. - It's okay, - I smile and take my luggage back, also touching the woman's fingers a little longer than necessary, which made her blush even more and her heart beat faster, - see you later. - Uh-huh, - the woman only nodded, and then immediately ran to her friends.

- Well, that's something! You got your way! - My improved hearing conveyed the voice of one of the security guards. I walked to the elevators very slowly on purpose and chose the one that was the highest.

- Mister Richter has simply invited her to his place to cook something for now, - her replacement grumbled.

- This is the first step! Well, what are you going to do?

- I-I don't know! - Lisa answered slightly panicked.

- How? - Her colleagues asked in unison.

- Just like that! Of course, I wanted him to invite me, but I didn't think that this would ever happen! After all, I'm a simple woman, I work here in security, there are many more beautiful and richer than me! Besides, I'm older than him. And Mister Richter comes from a very wealthy and good family. What can I give him?

- That's good, then he won't milk money out of you, like my cousin does with his wives, and you are too strict with yourself - you are a beauty! — Besides, she's strong, — the second guard continued the conversation, — which means you'll be able to protect him if something happens, men like that.

— How would you know? — her partner smirked.

— From there! — she snapped.

— Stop arguing! — Lisa hissed at them.

— Better advise which wine to take, red or white? If there's meat, then definitely red, but what about fish or poultry?

— Then take both! And not just one bottle! And also take something stronger, liqueur, for example. But don't take anything too strong, men don't like that.

— Oh, and be sure to wear that set! You know the one you bragged about to all of us a couple of months ago?

— Exactly! Any man would stare at it and then want to rip it off you! Unless, of course, he's one of those.

— Not one of those! — Lisa answered rudely.

— Otherwise, why would he call me? — and after a short pause, she added: — Right? - Of course not, I just blurted it out in a stupid way. Good luck to you!And not just one bottle! And take something stronger, liqueur, for example. But don't take anything too strong, men don't like that. - Oh, and be sure to wear that set! Good luck to you!Advertising "Good luck!" the second guard chimed in along with the approaching elevator.
