Elias's breath hitched. His heart pounded so loudly he was sure Cassius could hear it.
"I—I do not!" he spluttered, pushing at Cassius's chest in a feeble attempt to escape.
Cassius only grinned wider, effortlessly holding him in place. "Oh? Then why are you blushing so much?"
Elias let out a mortified groan, covering his face with both hands. "Because you keep saying ridiculous things, Master!"
Cassius hummed, clearly enjoying this far too much. "Ridiculous? I think it's a fair question. You asked if I liked you, and I answered. Now it's your turn."
Elias peeked through his fingers, his eyes darting everywhere except at Cassius. "That's… that's not fair! I wasn't expecting such an answer."
Cassius smirked. "What were you expecting? Me to say no?"
Elias pursed his lips, his blush creeping down to his neck. "...Maybe."
