Synopsis

For the last 75 years, humanity has been fighting a losing war against insectoids - relentless alien invaders.

Liam, discovered as a child inside one of their nests by a female soldier, has spent years living a quiet, civilian life, hiding his origin from the world, but when the military comes knocking on his doors, he is forced to join a brutal military academy, where survival is a daily battle.

Desperate to protect his home and the people he loves, Liam is forced to navigate through deadly trials while trying to keep his identity a secret.

But as he trains, a new threat emerges, one that could destroy everything he cares about.

To face it, Liam must tame the monstrous power within him, but his greatest challenge isn't the war or the enemies he faces, but an omnious system burried deep within him.

The thing that makes him powerful could also turn him into the greatest threat of all.

It's nice to see authors trying something different with inhuman MCs. Usually, the story starts with the protagonist dying and Reincarnating as some monster that needs to start leveling up in a jungle, but this one charts its own path. Liam is an insect-type protagonist and instead of us seeing him strive for survival in a wilderness, we start the story with him and his family and how their relationship works. I commend the author for going into detail about how Liam's family are quite devoted to his unusual needs. the challenges in raising him are perfectly expressed and for me that makes it easy to both sympathise with him and get attached to his family. I like the wholesome moments the story expels, though some of them seem to be leading to something ominous. In any case, if some tragedy were to happen... I'd definitely feel it. Great piece author!

A good start! i love how the story starts so far, i havent seen any grammar mistakes that ruin the flow of the story though it's only 11 chapters as of now i'm sure this will get alot more attention around the 30/35 mark, readers want to binge so don't be discourage if you dont have any traction just yet ^^ keep at it author
