STEPHANIE

Sa....sa....sapphire! Please help! Please! My chest. Stephanie said as she fell.

"Mum,help! Help! Sapphire said as she opened the door".

Why is the floor, why is Stephanie on the floor? Asked juliet,Sapphire's other maid. I don't know but we really need to take her to the hospital as soon as possible without wasting anytime. Alright no problem.

Mum,I'd be right back, juliet please help me open the gate. Sapphire said as she was struggling to put Stephanie inside the car. After that, she slammed the door real hard.

Moved to the driver's part of the door, opened it and jumped with one leg into the car.

She checked her surrounding using her front mirror. While watching her signal light, easing into reverse gear while moving slowly with her eyes keen on her surrounding. She put on her seat belt, buckle it up before starting the car.

Moved into the first gear and started moving slowly.Soon juilet joined after closing the gate.

"Doctor! Doctor! Help!!"

Hold on,what's the problem. Nurses please, the doctor said as he waved, using his hands as signals to usher the Nurses to his premises.

They quickly came and carried Stephanie in. I'm sorry, but youd have to wait. Any response we get,we'd get back to you immediately.

Sapphire was pacing when the doctor came in and tapped her shoulder.

She paused in fear like something touched her body and she was ready to fight back

"I'm concerned about her condition; she's had a cardiac arrest and is responding slowly to treatment. Once she's discharged, it's crucial she adheres to her medication regimen. I'd like to know what medications might be prescribed for her condition. Additionally, please ensure she avoids stress and activities that involve physical force or pressure."

Some potential medications for cardiac arrest treatment include

-Amiodarone a type of cardio and medicine names include Cordarone, Pacerone

- *Epinephrine*: A hormone used to restart the heart beat during cardiac arrest.EpiPen

- *Lignocaine (Lidocaine)*: A class IB antiarrhythmic medication to treat shock-resistant ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation.

- *Magnesium Sulfate*: To treat Torsades de Pointes, digoxin toxicity, or hypomagnesemia.

- *Calcium Chloride*: To treat hyperkalemia, hypocalcemia, or calcium channel blocker overdose.

To support her recovery, consider the following lifestyle changes:

- *Healthy Diet*: Encourage a balanced diet to reduce the risk of another cardiac event.

- *Stress Management*: Help her manage stress through relaxation techniques, such as meditation or deep breathing.

- *Regular Exercise*: Gentle physical activity, like walking, can help improve heart health.

- *Smoking Cessation*: If she smokes, quitting is essential to reduce the risk of further cardiac problems.

- *Medication Adherence*: Ensure she takes her prescribed medications regularly and attends follow-up appointments with her healthcare provider.

Thank you very much doctor, so when will she be discharged?

Uhmm, the doctor said as she scratched his head, and his hands on his stethoscope. Let say next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday. But don't worry,we have everything under control he said as he let up a big smile on his face reassuring her.

Alright then,if you say so. Sapphire said while forcing herself to smile back.

Her and juilet entered the car and Sapphire drived home.

Sapphire wandered through the empty halls of the palace, her footsteps echoing off the stone walls. She felt restless and bored, missing the company of her closest friend and maid, Stephanie. Stephanie's hospitalization had left a void in Sapphire's life, and she found herself longing for her loyal companion's presence.

As she walked, Sapphire's thoughts turned to the days spent with Stephanie, laughing and gossiping about the latest palace news. Without Stephanie, the palace felt dull and lifeless. Sapphire's usual activities, such as reading and horseback riding, held little appeal without her friend to share them with.

Sapphire decided to visit Stephanie at the hospital, hoping to brighten her friend's day. As she arrived, she was greeted by the familiar sight of Stephanie's hospital room, filled with flowers and get-well cards from the palace staff.

"Stephanie, darling!" Sapphire exclaimed, rushing to her friend's bedside. "How are you feeling today?"

Stephanie smiled weakly, her eyes lighting up at the sight of Sapphire. "I'm doing okay, Your Highness. Just a bit tired."

Sapphire took Stephanie's hand, feeling a surge of concern. "I'm so glad I came to visit. I've been feeling so lonely without you at the palace."

Stephanie squeezed Sapphire's hand. "I'm sorry to hear that, Your Highness. I'll be back to my usual self soon, I promise."

Sapphire smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "I'm counting on it, Stephanie. I don't know what I'd do without you."

As Sapphire visited with Stephanie, she began to realize how much she took her friend for granted. Stephanie was more than just a maid – she was a confidante, a friend, and a source of comfort in the often-chaotic world of the palace.

Over the next few days, Sapphire visited Stephanie regularly, bringing her favorite foods and listening to her stories about the palace staff. As Stephanie's health improved, Sapphire started to feel more connected to her friend and the palace staff, realizing that there was more to life than just her royal duties.

As Stephanie's discharge date approached, Sapphire felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. She knew that with Stephanie by her side, the palace would once again feel like home.

When Stephanie finally returned to the palace, Sapphire welcomed her back with open arms. "I'm so glad you're home, Stephanie! I've missed you terribly."

Stephanie smiled, hugging Sapphire tightly. "I've missed you too, Your Highness. Let's make some new memories together, shall we?"

And with that, Sapphire and Stephanie embarked on a new chapter in their lives, one filled with friendship, adventure, and the magic of the palace.

As Stephanie recovered from her illness, she and Sapphire spent more time together, gossiping and sharing secrets. One day, Sapphire leaned in close to Stephanie, a mischievous glint in her eye.

"Stephanie, I have to tell you about this boy," Sapphire whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the palace fountain.

Stephanie's curiosity was piqued. "What boy?" she asked, setting aside her needlework.

Sapphire blushed, her cheeks flushing pink. "His name is Alexander. I met him at a ball last week. He's handsome, charming, and he makes me feel like I'm the only person in the room."

Stephanie's eyes widened with interest. "Tell me more," she urged, putting down her sewing.

Sapphire sighed, a dreamy expression on her face. "He's tall, with piercing blue eyes and chiseled features. His smile can light up a room, and his wit is quick and clever. We danced together, and I felt like I was floating on air."

Stephanie smiled, happy to see her friend so smitten. "It sounds like you're smitten," she teased.

Sapphire giggled, her eyes sparkling. "I am! But it's not just his looks or his charm. He's kind, and genuine, and he listens to me like no one else ever has."

As Sapphire continued to gush about Alexander, Stephanie listened attentively, asking questions and offering words of encouragement. She was happy to see her friend so happy, and she couldn't wait to hear more about this mysterious boy who had captured Sapphire's heart.

But as the conversation went on, Stephanie couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to Alexander than met the eye. She'd heard rumors of a young nobleman with that name, known for his roguish behavior and scandalous reputation.

Stephanie's instincts told her to warn Sapphire, but she didn't want to ruin her friend's happiness. For now, she'd keep her concerns to herself and observe Alexander from afar.
