Power and Order | From Masad

Far from Earth, on the planet Masad of Rodoranter stellar system in the Marlin Galaxy of Fornax cluster, there was an enormous palace; better to say, it resembled a palace, but in reality, it was the official residence and workplace for the President of Universal Government. Many parts of this palace had conical roofs or domes. In front of the palace, there was another large building used as the Parliament House. Both the palace and the Parliament House were painted with camel colour.

Inside of the Parliament House, it was a large hall, probably the largest in the whole universe. Hundred rows and ten columns of benches and tables were there. The aisle was wide enough for five buses to pass through side by side. At least, twenty people could sit on each of the benches. There were even more benches and tables on the balconies, attached to the walls of the hall. But the majority of benches were occupied by humanoid bots handling most of the work, only some important decisions were made by humans.

Masad was dominantly the residence planet for all government officers, Universal Militias, officers from the Bureau of Inquiry, Universal Sentinaris, officers of Universal Civil Service and Members of Parliament. This planet was also the home of the Supreme Court and all chief judges. All used to be selected through competitive examination and for Members of Parliament, there used to be an election system, but now they all were selected by previous officials and Members of Parliament. There were different metropolises for different designations. Some metropolises had fighter jets or spaceships, and those metropolises were the residences of the Air Force or Space Force. While others had tanks for the Ground Army. This planet had several parks, gardens, memorial monuments, and statues; trees were fruitful, water in fountains were clean, and a fresh smell of flowers was everywhere. The sky was bright and open here, and the night was cool and fresh. All people had their own flying car. It was the second most glorious planet following Emerald.

"I have heard that Professor McWorld has completed his project," asked the President.

"Indeed sir. Just a little wait before the public announcement," a man said from the front row of the fourth column of benches.

"So, it's not far when Paradise Industry will invent affordable water producers." The president sighed.

"It looks like that. We have to prevent this announcement or his whole project." Another man suggested.

"We desperately need McWorld's invention, we all need; people in Emerald, our soldiers, our officers, business transport and travels, all." President answered, "McWorld's invention is a revolutionary invention."

"What if we sent Shakhai Amir and his team to Boduin. I heard Paradise Industry is not as big as other trillionaire industries. They are just economically very strong; although have few but genius employees. If we send them to another planet, they cannot operate their works on Earth," a man from behind the forty-ninth row of the seventh column said. He had olive skin, blonde hair, and a golden beard. His amber eyes were small and narrow and had epicanthic folds. He looked in his thirties, but the fact was that he was in his forties.

"And who are you, Mister?" Asked the President. The president adjusted the lens power of his spectacles manually to see the man carefully.

"Um, sir, it has disheartened me to know that you haven't recognised me. Well, I am Raevour Svikin. I am currently working as an intelligence officer under Defence Minister Huijin Huian Gu."

"Oh, work under Huijin? Good. So, after sending them to Boduin, what will we do? And most importantly, why, and how can we send them?"

Then Raevour passed a circular plate to the President. The President pressed a button on it, and a holographic screen lighted from it. It was an old report on some environmental project.

"It is a project once proposed by Paradise Industry when Bhagvat Bhārata was the head. The goal was to create an artificial ozone layer. But for many reasons, the government banned this project and charged fine to that company." Raevour explained.

"Yes, I have remembered, my father was the President in that time. He said that to me once. But why do we need it now?"

"My brother, Svitiou works in Boduin. He reported to me about an uprising protest and rebellion there. He said that Boduin is losing its greenness and fertility. And the main reason behind it is simply its atmosphere."

"So, you want me to do welfare for Boduin in a way of preventing the making of water producer? How dare you? There are lots of important work for us to do than doing welfare." The President roared.

"Welfare is just an excuse. Shakhai will need a reason for moving there. As I've just said about the uprising protest in Boduin, after sending them to that planet, I am sure, Shakhai will eventually join the protest and will help rebels. And then we will play our trump card." Raevour made a fist. His eyes were full of confidence.

"How can you be that much sure?"

"It's my guess. Shakhai is a very noble man. Soon he'll come to know about their condition and can't avoid helping them. In the end, he is a part of Bhāratas."

"Well, very well, I am going with your plan. But if it becomes a blunder, you know the consequences. Remember. Now, take this note—" All the robots started to write down notes on their holographic screen. "Send a notification to Paradise Industry. Tell them, they must move to Boduin. The people of Boduin need them. Someone from the company shall come to Masad to receive all the details regarding their journey and mission"
