Ch 10: Confrontation

Standing in front of a mountain of corpses, Sukuna began to climb. These were all the people who once lived happily in this small village. Upon reaching the top of the mountain, Sukuna sat down in a relaxed manner with his elbow on his thigh, propping his chin up. An evil smile formed on his lips as he saw his little servant approaching with what seemed to be his meal. 

Bowing respectfully, the servant named Urame handed a bowl of soup to Sukuna : "Here you go, master." Urame said . 

Sukuna picked up the bowl of soup and drank it in one go. Letting out a satisfied sigh , he smiled at Urame as he said, "You've improved, Urame ." 

"It's all thanks to your advice, master." Urame replied. pleased with his master's praise. Sukuna was a very cruel man, he acted indifferent most of the time, so hearing a little praise from him was a great victory . After eating a few more bowls of soup, Sukuna —now satisfied—looked at the horizon, where a dense forest bordered the small village. 'I feel like something is wrong.' Sukuna thought somewhat uneasily. The day had been the same as always, killing villagers and then feasting on the acquired meat. 

With his eyes still fixed in the direction of the forest, Sukuna raised his body and jumped off the pile of corpses. When his feet touched the ground, he raised his head with full focus on the forest. "Aren't you guys going to leave?" Sukuna asked, still looking in the same direction. 

"As expected of a demon in human skin." A beautiful voice spoke. With slow steps, the figure of a woman in her 25s emerged from the dense forest, her long pink hair cascading down her back along with her pair of black eyes with pink pupils, giving her an otherworldly charm. 

" Takako Uro !" Sukuna said with his lips curled upwards, he was very excited about this meeting. 

"You are truly brave, daring to face my master alone, were your brains damaged after the massacre of your squad members?" Urame taunted with a mocking smile. Hearing Urame 's taunt , Takako clenched her fists and clenched her teeth so tightly that a small trickle of blood trickled down her beautiful lips. 

After regaining control of her emotions, she looked coldly at Urame who was a few steps away from Sukuna . Ignoring Takako 's gaze , Urame awaited her master's orders. Breaking the tense atmosphere, another voice came from the forest calling the attention of Sukuna and his servant. "And who said she's alone?" asked the voice, walking unhurriedly, the owner of the voice, a beautiful woman with hair as dark as night, dressed in a beautiful white and red kimono. 

Upon seeing the woman, Sukuna raised an eyebrow and asked, " Akeno ?" Since Sukuna was a reincarnated soul, he had watched the first season of Highschool. DxD , so upon seeing Shuri , who bore a great resemblance to Akeno , he became intrigued. 

'Could this world be a crossover of several worlds with a supernatural theme?' Sukuna thought . 

Shuri 's thoughts were completely different, she was curious about how this demon knew about her daughter. But she wasn't worried at all, her daughter is under the protection of Noah-sama and Amaterasu- sama , Sukuna doesn't have the slightest chance of causing harm to his little treasure. 

Sukuna 's stunned state , Shuri made her first move, not wanting to prolong this fight too much. Advancing towards Urame , she delivered a blow with her club to the chest, sending Urame flying several meters away. She could have killed Urame with a single attack, but she left him alive for her daughter to take care of. 

"He's all yours!" Shuri said , walking until she was a few meters away from Sukuna . 

"Thank you okaasama !" Following her mother's orders, Takako followed Urame who had crashed into some wooden houses. Now face to face with Sukuna , Shuri stared at him for a few moments trying to find an opening. Sukuna also wasted no time, analyzing Shuri , soon both came to a conclusion. 

'''This person is very strong!''' 

Gathering cursed energy in her legs to amplify her speed, Shuri charges towards Sukuna , using her superior strength, she lands a flying kick on Sukuna 's spine . Sukuna uses three arms to intercept the attack and using his remaining arm he lands a punch on Shuri 's chest causing her to spit out some blood. 

'She has no experience in hand-to-hand combat.' Sukuna thought as he grabbed Shuri 's leg and threw her into a nearby house. 

" Argh !" 

Wiping the blood from the corner of her mouth, Shuri glared at Sukuna with hatred, gathering cursed energy in her hands again, uniting it with her stellar energy to amplify the attack, she stomped on the ground with force causing several rocks to be thrown into the air. 

"Meteorite Shower!" Infusing her stellar energy into the rocks, Shuri transformed them all into meteorites and threw them at Sukuna . 

Facing the imminent attack, Sukuna kept his face calm, he looked in Shuri 's direction and an almost imperceptible smile formed on his lips, but that only made him more frightening. 

Joining his hands in a Buddhist mudra , Sukuna speaks: "Expansion of domain, Fukuma Mizushi !" 

Sensing danger, Shuri tried to get away from Sukuna , which was completely futile, the space around them both changed, soon Shuri found herself in front of a large, disfigured Buddhist shrine. The shrine has horns on the roof, skulls hanging from the corners of the roof and mouths protruding from each side, the surroundings are surrounded by bull-shaped skulls. Using the power of his domain, Sukuna used power negation on Shuri 's meteorite shower . 

But to his surprise, his negation failed and he was struck. Realizing that this attack was impossible to negate, he covered his body with reverse energy, healing all the damage he had suffered previously. Shuri had already studied Sukuna 's abilities before this battle, so naturally she knew some of Sukuna 's techniques and mastery . To avoid having her attacks nullified, she infused them with star energy. 

"Damn you, how dare you hurt my body!" Sukuna shouted. He was quite angered by Shuri 's attack , over the years he had never suffered a scratch, this caused him to be extremely arrogant. 

"I'm just getting started!" Shuri said, now that she had confirmed that Sukuna 's domain could not nullify her attacks with stellar energy, it was her turn to go on the offensive. Joining her hands, Shuri created small spheres and launched them at Sukuna 's body . Sukuna, not wanting to be hit again, used his pseudo flight to keep his distance from the luminous spheres. But his plan did not go as smoothly as he wanted, just like guided missiles, the spheres followed him for almost five minutes, until some collided with Sukuna . 

'I don't feel anything, did the attack fail?' Sukuna thought. 'Maybe I'm immune.' Now that Shuri 's attacks seemed to have no effect on his body, Sukuna fearlessly advanced towards Shuri . Manipulating the electricity to increase his speed, Sukuna delivered a direct blow to Shuri 's abdomen , using his other four arms he grabbed Shuri 's pair of wings . 

"You won't be needing this anymore!" With a smile adorning his face, Sukuna pulled on Shuri 's wings with all his strength. 

" Aaaaaa !!!" Screaming at the searing pain in the place where her wings should have been, Shuri struggled to get away from Sukuna . Tearing off one of Sukuna 's arms , she jumped away, glaring at him with hatred burning in her eyes. She didn't like it, but she had to admit, Sukuna was superior to her, both in use of cursed energy and physical strength. But she was ready to turn the tables in her favor. 

"Don't worry, when I'm done with you I'll put your wings to good use!" Sukuna exclaimed, amused by Shuri 's expression . 

Shuri clasped her hands together in a Buddhist mantra and looked at Sukuna as if he were a dead man. 

"Neutral star!" Right after these words left Shuri 's mouth, Sukuna 's body shone with a blue light, draining all of his physical and mental strength. Now he was not much different from an ordinary person. 

"I see! The lights from before… was that your plan? To fight hand-to-hand?" Sukuna sneered. Even if he had the strength of an ordinary human, his cursed energy was enough to end this fight. As if hearing Sukuna 's thoughts , a dazzling smile formed on Shuri 's beautiful face . 

"Domain Expansion, Singularity Stele!" 

Sukuna 's dominance was broken with great ease by Shuri , making it clear that both were not on the same level. The surrounding scenery changed to a vast space where the entire floor was covered in crystal clear water, the dark sky showed the immensity of space, the stars shone without any obstruction. 

Now that Sukuna was nothing more than a small insect, Shuri advanced towards him, turning her body, she delivered a kick to Sukuna 's solar plexus , who tried to block with his remaining arms. 

* Trac !* 

The sound of bones breaking echoed through the air. Sukuna was thrown nearly a hundred meters away into the forest, crashing into several trees in the process. Approaching Sukuna 's dying body that was lying face down, Shuri placed a foot on his back and grabbed two of his three arms. 

"You won't need this anymore!" Shuri said, her voice was like a whisper from hell that entered Sukuna 's ears, sending chills down his spine. 

" N-no …" Sukuna tried to beg in a low voice. 

"Don't worry, you won't be killed..." Shuri spoke, pausing to get Sukuna 's attention , but her next words left the future king of curses in total despair: "I'll just divide your body and soul into twenty pieces and seal you!" 

Sukuna 's screams , Shuri began ripping off his fingers. 

" Aaaaaaaaaaargh !!!" 

Then she ripped off his arms, legs, teeth, ears, nose, tongue and finally his eyes. The scene was grotesque, the beautiful appearance of Shuri covered in blood dismembering a body would give nightmares to even the bravest. A body with only the head was now thrown over a large crystal clear lake that was part of Shuri 's domain . Soon she used a talisman that Noah gave her to seal Sukuna , thus completing her mission. 

[ Ding ! Mission complete, would you like to return to your world now?] 

familiar screen that appeared in front of her, Shuri felt a little nostalgic. 'It's been 8 years... I wonder if my Akeno still remembers me?' She was ready to confirm her crossing when she remembered a beautiful pink-haired girl who accompanied her throughout her journey in this world. Deactivating her domain, she slowly walked towards her wings thrown on the ground. 'System, can you fuse my wings back together?' Shuri asked . 

[Activating healing function!] 

The pair of wings that were lying on the ground shone like stars, soon turning into a luminous dust that gathered on Shuri 's back , after a few minutes her beautiful wings were back in their rightful place and her injuries were completely healed. 'Thank you!' After being back to her peak, Shuri continued walking towards the village—now destroyed . It didn't take long for her to see a woman lying on the ground with her body full of injuries. Shuri ran and when she reached the woman's side, she gently picked up her body. Looking tenderly at her 'daughter', she stroked the woman's disheveled hair. "Look at your condition." Shuri said , a hint of regret taking over her chest. 'I should have killed the boy in my first attack. 

" Haha you don't need to worry okaasama , you should see the other guy's condition." Takako joked as she heard her mother's voice. Hearing Takako , Shuri looked towards a mangled piece of flesh a few meters away. 

" Fufufu , my daughter is truly the best." Shuri praised, patting Takako 's head . Gathering her courage, Shuri asked something that had been bothering her since she left for this confrontation. " Uro … you know that with my mission complete, I can't stay in this world any longer, right?" 

"Yes, I accept!" Without waiting for Shuri to continue, Takako Uro accepted. She already knew that her dear mother did not want to leave her behind. As a good daughter, she will follow her mother. 

Hearing that Takako was willing to return with her to her world, Shuri was overjoyed that she would not have to part with her new daughter. ' Fufufu I can't wait for my two daughters to meet each other.' Shuri thought . 

Sukuna disappeared . In an old house, two old men are sitting in the courtyard drinking tea. 

"Any news from Takako and Lady Himejima ?" asked the long-bearded elder. 

"No, I believe they both actually died in the confrontation against Sukuna ." The other elder replied. 

Sukuna 's confrontation with Shuri , the great clans have been searching for the whereabouts of Shuri and Takako . Looking at a large painting on the wall, the elder stroked his long beard and ordered a servant who was serving tea. 

"I want you to keep this painting in our clan's treasure vault." 

In the painting, two beautiful women could be seen, both dressed in a junihitoe . On the back of one of them, a pair of wings could be seen, showing that this woman was not normal. This was a painting that Shuri prepared for Takako in case she refused to follow her back. The effects of this painting allowed that over the years of contact with it, the person would gain immortality and eternal youth. 

"Where are you now, Lady Himejima …" asked the elder looking at the sky. 

In the world of Highschool DxD .... 

Shuri , who returned a few weeks ago, was taking a bath in a long tub in Noah 's mansion . 

"I have a feeling I forgot something in the world of Jujutsu … never mind, if I forgot it must not be important." Shuri said and went back to washing her voluptuous body. 

Little did she know that this painting would cause huge waves in that world in the distant future.
