The future Earth lay quiet, its survivors blinking in the light of resurrection as Trunks and the revived Z Fighters processed their second chance. Renkai's final words hung heavy: "Before I leave, let me help you get rid of one more hidden danger." Gohan, now whole-armed, tilted his head. "Hidden danger?" Before anyone could press further, Renkai and Siru vanished, teleporting a hundred kilometers from Western Capital.
Unlike the androids' silent menace, this threat pulsed with ki—a faint, sinister hum. The target: a human settlement, once spared by 17 and 18's rampage. Now, it was a ghost town. Clothes littered the dirt, riddled with holes, shotguns and rifles abandoned beside them. Renkai's boots crunched on gravel as he and Siru materialized, the air thick with an eerie stillness—until a guttural slurp broke it.
A green-skinned insectoid, tail needle buried in a woman's back, drained her dry. Her body melted inward, leaving only a crumpled dress in seconds. The creature—Cell, first-stage, raw and primal—jerked upright as Renkai and Siru appeared. Its compound eyes widened, locking on Siru's perfect form. Cell: 200 million (first stage). "Impossible!" it rasped, voice trembling. "The computer's data—you shouldn't exist!"
Siru's gaze turned predatory, tongue flicking over his lips, but he held still. Renkai laughed, a sharp edge to it. "An original Cell, fresh off the press—saves me the trouble of cooking one up myself!" Dr. Gero's craft was his domain too, though he'd never dirtied his hands with it.
"Who are you?" Cell demanded, tail twitching.
Renkai ignored it, nodding to Siru. "Pin it."
"As you command, Lord Renkai," Siru replied, his telekinesis—Chiaotzu's gift—snaring Cell mid-breath. The creature froze, agony twisting its features. "I can't move! This—it's that damned Dumpling's trick!" Cell's insight was sharp, but futile; Siru's 4.2 billion dwarfed its power, rendering resistance moot.
Renkai summoned his Piccolo Daimao clone with a flicker of will, the hulking figure spitting an egg that hatched into a green-skinned minion—combat power a meager 10. "You're Silu," Renkai named it, turning to Cell. "Spare me!" Cell shrieked, sensing death. "I'll serve you—loyalty guaranteed!"
"Gero's creations come with rebellion baked in," Renkai said, smirking. "I trust my own." He initiated a Ginyu-style body swap: first into Silu, then into the immobilized Cell, and back to Silu—leaving Cell's cunning mind trapped in the weak shell. As it scrambled to flee, Siru's qigong blast reduced it to ash. "Silu greets Lord Renkai!" the new Cell bowed, voice steady. Silu: 200 million (first stage).
Renkai surveyed his trio—Siru, Silu, and the unseen Cell from his arsenal. "Three Cells… the Renkai Mecha Unit," he mused. "Five makes a Sharut Team—close enough." He clapped Siru's shoulder. "Job's done—back to Trunks."
They teleported to the wilderness, meeting Trunks by the time machine. "See you next time," Renkai said, the pod flashing away with Siru and Silu aboard, bound for his timeline. As he turned toward Western Capital, a chime rang in his mind: "Ding! Dragon Ball spacetime detected—seven projections collected, summoning master."
"Head home," he told his mecha duo via comms. "Tell Bulma I've got another job." Golden light enveloped him, and he vanished.
Another Earth, another timeline—Cell's game unfolded in chaos. The arena trembled, Android 16's arms locked around Perfect Cell in a desperate bid for mutual destruction. Cell: 4 billion (complete). "This ends now!" 16 growled—only to falter. The bomb Gero had planted was gone, removed by Bulma during repairs. Cell sneered, shattering 16 with a casual flurry, leaving just a head rolling in the dirt.
Gohan faced Cell, fists clenched, but his heart wavered—peace clashing with rage, stalling Super Saiyan 2. Nearby, Satan cowered, clutching 16's head as the android rasped, "Throw me to Gohan—wake his fire!" In the old tale, this sparked Gohan's ascent. Here, fate twisted.
A mini-Cell, fresh from pummeling Krillin into the ground, spotted 16's head arcing high—Satan's trembling toss. "Heh," it chuckled, firing a qigong wave. The head exploded in midair, a burst of sparks raining down. Gohan flinched, the soul-stirring words lost, and Cell's next blow crushed him. The Z Fighters fell one by one—Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha—until the arena lay silent, Cell triumphant.
Yet mercy flickered. "For Goku's senzu bean," Cell mused, sparing Earth, his pride sated. He turned to the stars, hungering to prove his supremacy across the cosmos. First stop: King Kai's planet. With Goku's cells in his veins, he tracked the diminutive god. "Who's the universe's best?" he demanded. King Kai stammered, then fell, he and his pets obliterated by Cell's whims.
Armed with Kai's intel, Cell embarked on his conquest—unaware of the ripple he'd unleashed. King Kai's death shattered a seal tied to his life, freeing BoJack and his galactic marauders from their prison. "Jiejie," BoJack cackled, flexing his claws. "The galaxy's mine again!"
Back on Earth, the dust settled over a broken world—Cell gone, but a new shadow rising.
