Chapter 6

A pair of round eyes were staring at me.

I turned over weakly, lying flat on the bed.

Gazing into the void, lost in thought for a long time.

Suddenly, a pale arm reached out in front of my eyes.

"Does it hurt here?"

I turned my head away.

"Why did you agree to her?"

She looked at me in surprise, "What?"

I didn't answer, just staring straight at her.

"Oh, you mean that? I have no money, I need money." She smiled at me casually.

I deepened my voice, about to get up and leave this messy bed.

"Yesterday was my first time," she suddenly spoke up.

"My grandma is very sick, seriously ill, but my parents don't want to treat her anymore. I was raised by my grandma. Everyone else can give up on her, but I can't!"

Her voice was a bit choked up, and my body suddenly stiffened as I stood with my back to her.

I thought again of that torn final work. I was also raised by my grandma. Everything about her means the world to me.

I lowered my eyes, "Give me your phone."
