Extinguishing his almost finished ciger butt on the ash tray sitting on the table, Roman picked up a shot and gulped it down, his face having no reaction as he gulped down another shot again.

Ryan smiled, watching Roman down another shot. This was precisely what he needed to alleviate his grim mood. His mother's announcement that Alana had moved out had enraged him. He understood her adulthood, but it remained ethically unacceptable that she'd simply left home to live with an unknown acquaintance.

To compound the matter, his mother was unaware of this acquaintance's address. He raised a shot glass to his lips and drained its contents in one swallow.
