The silence before the storm was deafening as Elias and his team stepped into Floor 50. The air was thick with the scent of iron and the tension of the impending battle. Before them stretched a
vast battlefield, one that seemed to go on forever. On the far horizon, a towering figure appeared a woman clad in golden armor, her presence commanding the attention of every living thing in the vicinity.
Solmara, the Warlord Goddess.
Her voice rang out, as if echoing from every corner of the field, a force of nature in itself. "So, the challengers arrive. You have made it far, but you are not worthy to face me. The true test begins now. Prepare to die."
Elias clenched his fists, his heart pounding. He
had been through many trials, but this this would be the final one. Solmara was not just a warrior, she was a strategist, a goddess of conquest with an army at her command. The very ground beneath them seemed to tremble with her might.
The Warfields of Eternity-this was no ordinary battlefield.
"Stay close, Elias ordered, his voice low and steady. "We need to hold our ground and strike together. We can't let her break us apart."
But as Solmara raised her hand, a legion of divine soldiers appeared from the shadows, their armor gleaming like the sun. Hundreds of soldiers, immortal and relentless, surrounded the group.
The battle began in an instant.
Althea dashed forward, her blade cutting through the first wave of enemies. Her strikes were swift, her movements a blur as she held her ground. Yet, it was clear from the beginning that this would not be easy. The soldiers she faced were no mere mortals-they were gods in their own right.
"Keep pushing them back!" Althea shouted, but there was a note of strain in her voice as she swung her blade, the weight of the battle already starting to take its toll on her.
Lyra, standing behind Elias, conjured powerful bolts of arcane energy, striking down enemies from a distance. But even her magic was not enough to stop the onslaught. "We need to end this quickly!" she yelled, her hands trembling slightly as she gathered more magic.
Elias charged forward, his eyes locked on Solmara. He had to take her down. But her soldiers were everywhere-relentless, deadly, and numerous. They surrounded him and his team, cutting off escape routes and forcing them into a tight, desperate fight.
The battle raged on for what felt like an eternity. Elias fought with all his might, cutting through soldiers with precision and power, but each victory only led to more enemies, more divine warriors that kept coming.
Then, it happened. Althea, in the middle of a swing, was struck by a spear that pierced her side. She let out a scream of pain, falling to her knees, blood staining the earth beneath her. "Althea!" Elias shouted, tuming to her with a
desperate look in his eyes.
Lyra, her magic faltering, rushed to her side, her face pale with worry. "We need to get her out of here!" she said, but the words were drowned out by the chaotic noise of the battlefield.
Elias' heart tightened, but he knew what needed to be done. "You two, fall back. Take Althea to safety. I'll finish this."
"No!" Lyra protested, but she knew that Flias was right. Althea was critically injured, and they couldn't afford to let their focus slip.
Elias took a deep breath and turned back to face
Solmara, She stood there, her golden armor gleaming as she watched the chaos unfold with an air of cold detachment.
"You think you can defeat me?" she laughed, her voice as sharp as a blade. "You are nothing more than ants, squirming beneath my boot. But go ahead, try. I'll enjoy crushing you all the
same.
With a wave of her hand, the soldiers around Elias grew even fiercer. He had no time to waste.
Divine Judgement.
A powerful light erupted from Elias, an explosion of divine energy that sent waves of destruction through the battlefield. The soldiers around him were obliterated, their bodies disintegrating into nothingness. But Solmara remained unaffected, her golden armor shining brightly even in the
wake of the explosion.
"You think that was enough? Solmara scoffed, raising her hand again. Her divine power surged, and the soldiers reappeared-stronger, faster, more relentless.
Elias' gaze hardened. This was no ordinary foe. He would need to go beyond his limits.
God Slayer.
A violent surge of energy enveloped Elias as his body became a blur of motion. His speed increased tenfold, and his strength was overwhelming. He sliced through the divine
soldiers with ease, his sword cleaving through them like paper. But Solmara was still standing, her presence unwavering, her power unyielding.
"I won't be defeated so easily," she declared, her eyes burning with a godly fury. She swung her massive weapon, a golden spear, toward Elias, the strike so fast and powerful that it seemed to tear through space itself.
Elias barely dodged, feeling the heat of the attack on his skin. He retaliated immediately, his sword flashing as he aimed for her chest. But Solmara blocked with her spear, her strength nearly overpowering his.
The battle between them raged like a storm, each blow reverberating through the very air. Solmara's divine power was immense, but Elias' relentless drive, his will to win, pushed him forward. He had to finish this. For Althea, For Lyra. For everyone who had fallen.
In the final moment, Elias gathered every ounce of his power. With a roar, he unleashed the last of his strength in a single, devastating strike.
Divine Judgement. The power of the gods coursed through him as he drove his sword into Solmara's heart.
Solmara's eyes widened in disbelief as she staggered backward, the golden light of her
armor flickering. "How... How could this be...?" she whispered, but before she could say
anything else, Elias plunged his sword deeper,
ending her life.
The battlefield fell silent
Elias stood there, panting heavily, his body battered but still standing. The soldiers were gone. Solmara was dead. The Trial was over.
System Message:
"You have defeated Solmara, the Warlord Goddess. Absorbing her power and abilities..."
Elias felt an overwhelming surge of energy flood
his body. He could feel Solmara's divine power course through him, her strength and abilities merging with his own. But along with the power came a new weight-a responsibility, a reminder that each victory in this tower came at a cost.
"Power Absorption Complete."
As Elias stood amidst the ruins of the battlefield, the system granted him a weapon-an artifact forged from Solmara's divine essence.
"Divine Dagger - Granted."
Elias grasped the dagger in his hand. It was small, but it glowed with a faint, golden light. The blade was razor-sharp, and as he held it, he could feel the intense power it contained.
"Divine Dagger - A weapon of unparalleled precision. The dagger's blade can pierce even the toughest of defenses, cutting through armor and divine protection with ease. It grants the user the ability to strike with pinpoint accuracy, making every blow deadly."
With a sense of finality, Elias looked out across the battlefield. His team had fallen back and was safe. The Trial was one step closer to its end.
And Elias had grown even more powerful.
