Synopsis:

Yuno sought another opportunity to live but discovered this unique situation instead. After his rebirth as a minuscule fungal organism in a harsh environment he discovers the Mycelium System which allows him to evolve while battling his way through dungeons to ascend the food chain.

Yuno starts his journey after surviving goblin attacks while he battles legendary warriors to discover his true purpose. While Yuno becomes more powerful the shadowy forces of Brave Mainland gain more strength. A tiny mushroom seeks to achieve the status of world's greatest hero.

Chapter 58: The Aftermath of Flames 2

Two objects moved through complete darkness.

The builders had not taken the time to create this tunnel with exactness. The desperate attempt at survival had led to its creation. The structure managed to succeed despite its unprepared state and the lack of planning.

Gravity pulled the mushroom and piglet down the sloping passage which led them deeper into uncharted territory.

The soil had compressed into solid spheres that enveloped their bodies. The meteor strike caused an underground collapse which buried them under multiple layers of tightly packed earth. The momentary burial had sealed them inside a grave made of soil and rock.

The dirt cells which confined them began to shift.
