"Ellyn."
"Um? Yes, Mother?" Ellyn blinked, turning toward Mrs. Faria, who had been silently following them a few steps behind.
"We should head back home," Faria said gently. "I'm sure your "father" is worried, knowing you've been missing this long."
"But…" Ellyn hesitated, glancing back at Hazuki.
"No but. Now, Ellyn."
"Ugh! Fine…" she pouted, reluctantly sliding down from Hazuki's shoulders with a soft thump.
She turned to face him, arms crossed behind her back. "Uncle?"
"Hm?" Hazuki replied, still chewing on the last bite of skewer meat.
"You're staying here in town, right?"
"Huh? I don't know. Maybe. Is there a stable around?"
Ellyn squinted. "Uncle…"
"What?"
"Why always a stable? Yumia Town… now here too? At least find a proper inn!"
"Err… inns cost money, you know. A stable's cheaper. Just 1 copper coin for a dry corner and hay. Not too bad, really."
