Chapter 11: Crying Goddess

I mean this wasn't the best of the bunch, but it's still a pretty decent talent. I wish I could have got the dragon heart that gives me infinite mana regeneration with the strength of a dragon.

The imagination magic spell skill that let me create anything with my imagination would have been great.

Perhaps the titan body would have been better, it let me easily destroy buildings with the wave of my hands.

The Phoenix familiar was fucking op, it was immortal with powerful flames.

If I was looking for a defensive item I would have chosen the unbreakable armor that would have given me the perfect impenetrable defense.

Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way, but the master magic swordsman skill set would also be op. So many options, but none of them were chosen by my item.

I'm still surprised the system lets me use the item in the system space instead of bringing it to the real world. If that happened, how could I explain what I had in my hand?

You know I could technically mid-max my entire setup by choosing the dragon heart with infinite mana regeneration, via the magic generator shaped as a heart. With both these talents I might become a god of magic with enough effort. I guess it's time to record my actions, let's see if I can make my phone float while recording, oh it works.

"Goddess, how powerful are gods on their own." I asked with a slightly nervous expression not knowing if this Goddess was as dumb as I thought.

"Well if you're asking about our power in our domains we are all omnipotent, but not omniscient, only the God of all gods has that ability. We are all limited by divine laws in how we can influence and interact with the mortal world. Reincarnators from other worlds who we send in with cheat items, skills, and talents are a common loophole we abuse to defeat those bugs that mess up our territories."

"Is the demon king one of those bugs you can't kill without outside help?" Kazuma asked, taking it all in.

Aqua being Aqua the idiot who didn't realize she isn't supposed to tell mortals these kinds of facts kept going on and on about it. When Kazuma asked about it with some other questions.

"What do you know about shinigami?"

"I mean my position technically makes me a god of death, but we don't go by that title." She said while still eating some potato chips that endlessly spawned inside of the bag.

"Can you see what I'm holding?" I asked, holding the system phone.

"You aren't holding anything, did that NEET brain of yours already start rotting further now causing you to hallucinate." Her smug expression was evident to anyone who saw her.

'One more test to get that sweet reward from everyone.'

"Have you ever heard of the Dimensional Adventure Group Chat System?" I told her without fear since the system didn't have any real rules or anything forbidding you from telling another of the existence of the system.

"Is that an anime or something you shut in NEET?" Aqua kept laughing at her perception of Kazuma acting crazy with these last few questions.

'It was her, she's one of the reasons the system gave me those terrible nicknames, she just called me a shut-in NEET. One of the very same nicknames on that list. She's going down no matter the cost, I won't stand for this level of disrespect.' My anger grew, but my brilliant mind thought of the craziest loophole I could ever think of. They said anything right... Let's push those anything limits to the test while thinking of a punishment for this bitch.

"Goddess, when you said everything you meant everything right." I asked with a devilish grin.

"Ya ya you worthless NEET, you can take anything you want here as a reward. Can you hurry up for the thousandth time already, you aren't the only soul I need to judge here. Hurry up and go be worthless in your next world as well you dirty NEET." She said while still trying to rush me out the door as fast as she could.

"You... You're the cheat item I want to bring with me to the other world." I asked while I felt like I just ascended to the heavens in one step.

"Good, you finally chose what you wanted. Now just.." Aqua summoned the portal absentmindedly about to send Kazuma off before she realized something was wrong.

A portal opened up in the sky letting out a beautiful lady with short golden hair, and large white wings that looked like a dove.

"Your wish has been heard Sato Kazuma, according to the regulations taking Lady Aqua with you is allowed. Don't worry lady Aqua I'll handle your responsibilities till you defeat the demon king" The angel said politely.

"You can't be serious right, I'm clearly a Goddess, he's just a regular old shut-in NEET. This has to be a mistake right, the regulations couldn't allow something this insane right?" Aqua asked with a shocked expression.

Aqua was only met with a blank stare from the angel meant to be serving beings like her.

"No... No... No this can't be happening to me, I'm Aqua the Goddess of water. THIS HAS TO BE AGAINST THE RULES." Aqua was crying the entire time this was happening as she drew near the portal.

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME THIS IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL, I'M A GODDESS NOT A FIGHTER!" Aqua's yelling and begging grew louder all the while her new replacement only responded with a farewell.

"Have a safe travel lady Aqua, if you should defeat the devil king, we will come down to bring you home."

"I'm a healer, not a fighter, the only skills I have are capable of healing not attacking. Put me down, put me down!" She was floating upwards towards the giant magical portal in the sky.

"It must suck big times for you, the oh-so mighty Goddess, to be dragged away by the so-called shut-in dirty neet. Cry all you want, useless goddess you're coming with me, and there's nothing you can do about it anymore. Maybe you should have been nicer to me or I wouldn't be this extreme in my choice oh mighty goddess of mine" Kazuma's sarcasm with his smirk added salt to Aqua's new wounds from this encounter.

"The times for apologies are gone Aqua, I'll tap that heavenly power of yours every day and I'll tap it again and again to live the good life in my new life." Kazuma's hands started gesturing multiple movements that would be called lewd by anyone who saw it.

Aqua's face twisted in fear as she used her arms to cover her body in an attempt to protect herself.

"Please don't make me go with a creep like him. Please take it back. I'll be more responsible in the future with my duties. You can't do this to me... Pleassee!" Aqua's begging and wailing didn't work this time.

Kazuma was laughing floating mid-air above the portal, Aqua was crying at the situation unfolding before her eyes.

"I wish you lady luck's blessings on you two. Try not to piss off your seniors in the future lady Aqua, she did warn you. I hope the taste of that sacred wine was worth it, lady Aqua." The angel said with a smile.

"She's still mad at me, it's been ages since that happened. Nooo, I'm sorry, please forgive me."

"Sato Kazuma, if you were to defeat the devil king, the gods are willing to grant you any wish you desire. Even wishing to become a minor deity isn't off the table if you can accomplish this feat."

"So I get to wish for anything if I succeed." Kazuma's imagination went wild thinking of all the possibilities for the future.

'Useless goddess or not, how useless can she be? She did say gods were omnipotent in their domains. She's coming with me to help save the world, with the power of a god on my side, that devil king, whatever dude doesn't stand a chance.' I thought while thinking of my days of coming back from the Max-level gaming zone back to the newbie starter town. Those low-level scrubs won't even know what hit them with an omnipotent god on my side.

Admin privileges here we come this guy over here is going to smite you with the admin's help. It's not admin abuse or cheating to get help from staff in duels, the reason why you lost was merely a skill issue.

"Hey, that's meant to be my line, you backstabbing angel."

"Now then begin your journey and have a fun adventure, Lady Aqua." 

Kazuma wasn't paying attention, but the angel started laughing at Aqua as the portal spell was about to finish. Aqua saw it all, and it made her feel even worse. Soon enough Aqua and Kazuma were in a brand new world together.
