The ruins stretched endlessly ahead swallowed in mist and eerie silence. The cloaked man led the Straw Hats through the crumbling remains of what was once a mighty fortress. Strange carvings lined the walls—symbols unlike anything they had seen before.
Robin ran her fingers over an engraving of a spiral sun, her expression sharp with thought. "These markings… they resemble the ancient glyphs from the Void Century."
The stranger stopped. "That is because they are."
The crew froze.
Robin's voice was unusually quiet. "Are you saying that Middle-earth existed during the Void Century?"
The man nodded. "More than that. It was erased during the Void Century."
A tense silence followed.
Luffy tilted his head. "Wait, wait, wait! You mean there were people like you and spooky ghosts back in our world, and then—POOF! They disappeared?"
The man's silver eyes gleamed. "Not just ghosts. Gods. Kings. Monsters. A war that nearly ended the world."
Sanji exhaled smoke, his eyes sharp. "Alright, mystery guy. Enough riddles. Tell us who you are."
The man turned to them fully, lowering his hood.
His face was lined with age and wisdom, but his presence was immortal—as if he had seen centuries pass before his eyes. His silver hair fell past his shoulders, and his gaze held an intensity that made even Zoro tense.
"My name," he said, "is Gandalf."
The name resonated in the air, carrying a weight beyond words.
Chopper blinked. "Gandalf? Like… a wizard?"
Gandalf allowed a faint smile. "Yes. A wizard. One of the last."
Nami looked sceptical. "Okay, but how do you know about the Void Century?"
Gandalf turned to Robin. "Because I was there when it ended."
Robin's breath hitched. "That's… impossible."
But before Gandalf could continue, thunder rumbled in the distance.
The ruins trembled as if the very earth was rejecting their presence.
And then—the whispers began.
Low, ancient voices. Echoes of the past, speaking in a language no one could understand… except Robin.
She stiffened. "It's… it's an old dialect of Elvish mixed with the ancient language of the Poneglyphs."
Franky raised an eyebrow. "What are they saying?"
Robin's lips parted as she translated:
"The Ring has awakened. The Dark One sees. The eye watches once more."
A chill ran through the crew.
Gandalf's expression darkened. "Then we have no time. We must reach Mordor before the enemy does."
Luffy's grin widened. "Awesome! Let's go punch the bad guy!"
Gandalf sighed. "It is never that simple."
And behind them, in the swirling mist, something watched.
A shadow—tall, armoured with burning red eyes—stood atop the ruins.
It did not speak.
It simply vanished into the darkness.
