Silence. Absolute, deafening silence.
The battlefield was still littered with debris, the ground cracked and scorched from the battle with the Witch-King. The air still held the faint, eerie chill of his lingering presence. And yet—none of that mattered.
Because standing before them, with a self-satisfied smirk, was none other than Buggy the Clown.
Usopp was the first to break the silence. "OH, COME ON! HOW?!"
Sanji exhaled a long puff of smoke. "This has to be a joke."
Nami's eye twitched. "Tell me this is a joke."
Franky adjusted his sunglasses. "This is NOT super."
Robin, however, simply observed him. Her usual calm demeanor didn't waver, but a flicker of interest passed through her eyes. "Hmm… I didn't expect this."
Zoro rested his hand on his sword hilt. "I say we cut him down now, just in case."
Luffy, meanwhile, blinked. Then grinned. "Oi! Buggy! Since when were you a badass?"
Buggy's smirk widened. He straightened his cape, looking absurdly confident despite the shocked and skeptical glares from the Straw Hats. "Oh, you fools… you have NO idea who I really am."
"Yeah, you're a clown," Zoro deadpanned.
Buggy's eye twitched. "Shut up, Mosshead!"
Sanji sighed, rubbing his temple. "I already have a headache."
Luffy tilted his head. "Wait, wait, wait. So you're saying you know about all this Middle-earth stuff? The Ring, the Witch-King, Mordor?"
Buggy chuckled. "Know about it? Straw Hat… I was THERE."
Another silence followed.
Then, simultaneously—
"LIAR!"
Nami groaned. "Okay, I've had enough of this circus act. Someone explain why Buggy is here, holding the Ring, acting like some legendary figure from history?"
Buggy grinned wider. "Oh, Nami, Nami, Nami… what if I told you that the biggest secret in the world—the greatest LIE in history—isn't about the Void Century, or the One Piece?"
Luffy's expression turned serious. "Then what is it?"
Buggy spread his arms dramatically.
"The lie… is that Gol D. Roger was the only pirate who made it to the Final Island."
The Straw Hats froze.
Zoro's grip on his sword tightened. "What are you saying?"
Buggy's smirk never faded. "Roger wasn't alone. He wasn't the first. And he wasn't the last. There was another crew before him."
The air grew heavy.
Sanji's eyes narrowed. "You're making this up."
Buggy wagged his finger. "Oh no, no, no. I WISH I was making this up." He lifted the Ring between his fingers. "You see this little trinket? This isn't just some magical artifact. This is the key to everything."
Robin, her usual curiosity piqued, stepped forward. "Explain."
Buggy chuckled darkly. "Oh, I will. But first…" He tossed the Ring at Luffy.
Luffy caught it on reflex, blinking. "Huh?"
Buggy grinned. "Try putting it on."
Nami immediately reached for her Clima-Tact. "Luffy, DON'T—"
But it was too late.
The moment the Ring slid onto Luffy's finger—
The world vanished.

The Vision
Luffy gasped.
He was no longer on the battlefield.
Instead, he stood in the middle of a storm.
Lightning crackled. The sea churned violently below him. The sky was a swirling vortex of darkness.
And in the distance—
A massive war was raging.
Ships unlike any he had ever seen clashed against each other. Some bore the Jolly Roger of ancient pirates. Others carried banners with a strange, spiked symbol—something eerily familiar, yet completely foreign.
And standing at the center of it all—
A tall, cloaked figure with piercing red eyes.
Luffy felt his breath hitch. "Who…?"
The figure turned, as if sensing his presence.
Then, in a voice that echoed through the storm—
"You are not ready."
Lightning struck.
Luffy's vision snapped back to reality.

Back to the Present
The Ring flew off his finger as if rejecting him, landing back in Buggy's palm.
Luffy staggered back, eyes wide. His breathing was uneven.
Nami grabbed his arm. "Luffy! What happened?!"
Luffy swallowed. "I saw… a war. A huge war. And someone…"
Buggy smirked. "Looks like you got a glimpse of the past."
The Straw Hats were dead silent.
Robin narrowed her eyes. "What was that? Was that… from the Void Century?"
Buggy twirled the Ring between his fingers. "Not just the Void Century. The war before it. The one that started everything."
Luffy clenched his fists. "Who was that guy? The one who saw me?"
Buggy's smirk finally faded. For the first time, his expression turned serious.
He looked directly at Luffy.
"That was the first King of the Pirates."
The Straw Hats froze.
Sanji's cigarette nearly fell from his lips. "What?"
Buggy nodded. "The first King of the Pirates. The one who ruled before Roger. The one whose name was erased from history. The one who held the true One Piece."
Luffy's eyes widened. "The true One Piece…?"
Buggy turned toward the horizon. His voice dropped to a whisper.
"And the one who started the war against Imu."
The wind howled.
The adventure was only just beginning.
