FATHER
The supreme head of the demon hunters, known only as "Father." No one knows their true identity, gender, or appearance. They communicate with hunters at random intervals, relaying instructions and greetings in an unpredictable manner.
D PAD
A specialized palmtop device issued to hunters, mostly used exclusively for receiving instructions. Only its assigned hunter can operate it. While similar to a mobile phone, it possesses unique features tailored to the hunters' needs.
OCEAN EYES
A group formed from an unlikely alliance between certain demon factions and a select few humans after a brutal confrontation in Iceberg Town. The name likely stems from the demons' striking blue eyes.
DARK NEMESIS
Toro once remarked that Mario's blade can kill any being—a claim Mari later reinforced. Though still unproven, one thing is clear: demons seem unable to regenerate from wounds inflicted by this weapon.
MEMORY WIPER
A device issued to Captains and CITs, capable of erasing a person's memory of specific events. However, some individuals—most recently, Mario—have proven immune. The reason for this anomaly remains unknown.
HUNT SUIT
The official uniform of the demon hunters consists of a black top, trousers, shoes, and a mask to conceal their identity. Hunters are allowed some customization, such as hoods, gloves, or extended sleeves, as long as they don't compromise anonymity. The mask grants night vision, and the suit includes built-in communication functions. Mario's mask is an unusual case—it stands out, yet poses little risk since he is believed to be dead.
MARIO'S IDENTITY
Few people recognize Mario or Mari by their lineage, and for good reason. Mario, overshadowed by his twin Lukas, was rarely in the public eye. Meanwhile, Mari, as a member of House Real, remained largely unknown outside his family due to the house's secretive nature.
MARIO'S WARDROBE
Having owned nothing beyond the clothes he wore when joining the organization, Mario's wardrobe—like that of other hunters—is fully funded by the DDI. His new clothing was delivered to Mari's residence before his arrival.
USAGE OF HOUSE NAMES IN DDI
Within the organization, hunters are identified solely by their rank and first name. While they may choose to disclose their house of origin to a select few, it is never used officially. Only the higher-ups are privy to such details, a measure taken to protect the hunters' families from potential threats.
