Chapter 6: Night Calm's Pills.

Jung Ha-na almost turned the whole city upside down in search of her son. On the day Roh Yoon-ho left , she returned home from work only to be met by dead silence . She went upstairs to check up on her son. That day she had happened to be busy that she didn't have time to track his studies through the cameras. She searched the rooms while calling out her son's name and the only response she got was the reverberation of her own voice.

She walked over to the neighborhood calling him out and searched from house to house. By the time she returned home her voice was hoarse and her throat was dry. She called all her relatives inquiring about the boy's whereabouts but none of them seemed to know about his whereabouts. Roh Yoon-ho had secretly destroyed the cameras in the house before escaping. The only recordings were from the day he had an argument with his mother.

Jung Ha-na noticed some of her son's belongings were gone and she definitely knew the boy had gone somewhere but couldn't tell where. As long as she was concerned she had no idea of her son's possible hideouts and she couldn't tell which one of her relatives the boy would seek refuge under. For some reason she felt one of her in-laws had colluded with Roh Yoon-ho but still she was unable to specify who. She even reported it to the police station hoping they would succeed in finding him.

In the process she called her son's number several times,she even used her colleagues' phones but all she received was one response; that the number was no longer in service. Jung Ha-na was always a composed lady but that incident had affected her so much that she lost her composure. Even nurses at the hospital couldn't help but gossip about her sudden change in conduct.

A week later,the participants of the auditions received feedback through their emails. The company had done a thorough analysis of the performances and managed to pick out the top six performers. The now soon to be trainees were given an allowance of one week to report at the company . The company was located in Nonhyeon-dong. It was a simple storey building typical of a small company.

Park James was the first to report at the company. As promised ,his brother prepared everything for him. The dorm rooms allocated for the trainees were two large ones each with a bunk bed and a single bed in it. Beside the rooms,there was a small room almost the size of a cabin. Park Seung-ho arranged for one of the single beds to be moved there ,he bought a small mini fridge and stocked it with blood sachets and blood wines. Park James would use the cabin by himself and if possible his brother instructed him to try everything he could to keep others from stepping inside the room till their debut.

"I know you're good at disguising and hiding things. There will be regular dorm inspections so you have to hide your little drinks,"Park Seung-ho instructed,"And remember you can't tell anyone about our relationship people might think you got in because of me,"he added.

"Got it. So during the dorm inspections,what should I disguise the mini fridge as? A shoe rack?"he joked.

"Do whatever you wish as long as they don't find you out. Also remember to take the Night Calm's Pills."

Night Calm's Pills would reduce Park James ' desires and hunger for blood especially now that they would engage in exercises and other strenuous activities,due to the rapid pumping of blood in the human body the scent of blood was likely to be strong and it would affect him.

"I doubt I will even use these pills. I've always learnt how to control my desires and I'm almost immune to the human scent. I only drink blood just because I feel like it not because I can't resist it,"he sassed.

"Okay. I guess other trainees will be arriving soon."

Park Seung-ho disappeared after settling down his brother at the dorm. Over the week the chosen trainees arrived one by one. By Thursday,a total of five trainees had reported and been allocated rooms. The last trainee had not yet shown up by Saturday and he happened to be the most important. The CEO and his staff were getting worried and they even tried contacting him.

Roh Yoon-ho was aware his chances of touring around Seoul would be limited once he became a trainees so he seized the opportunity to visit different places of the city. Although he ended up getting lost most of the times,he didn't give up. His unfamiliarity to the city and his introverted nature were the key reasons why he had a poor sense of direction.

On Sunday, was when he decide to report at the company and he still got lost.

The CEO and his staff were still in a meeting when one of the managers received a call from Roh Yoon-ho. It was almost night time and he was stuck at the bus stop. He couldn't trust any taxi driver at such a time.

"Is that Yoon-ho- ssi?" Bae Seong-min asked.

"Yes,"Choi San confirmed,"He's stuck at the bus stop."

"What should we do?"

"Ask if one of the trainees is familiar with Seoul so he can pick him up from the bus stop."

Choi San requested the boys to volunteer to pick up Roh Yoon-ho from the bus stop. Two of the trainees were busy freshening up,one of them was too young to carry out such a task. So Kim Minsu the eldest agreed to take responsibility and Park James agreed to accompany him after a while of persuasion. They took Manager Choi's car and drove to the bus stop.

"What kind of guy can't find his way to the company? How old is he? Twelve?" Park James uttered frustratedly.

"Maybe he has a bad sense of direction? "Kim Minsu assumed.

"Whoever he is I bet he must be ugly that was why he was afraid to report at the company first. He's afraid of showing his face,"Park James concluded sounding petty.

"I think he must be good looking that was why he wants to arrive late just to prove to us he's more handsome.The handsome man always arrives the last."

"Even he's handsome he's just useless if he can't come to the company on his own."

"Maybe it's his first time in Seoul."

"Why do you keep defending him? Do you perhaps know who he is ?"

"No I don't."

Kim Minsu spotted a boy seated alone a few meters in front of them.

Roh Yoon-ho was seated at the waiting bench at the bus stop,the car's headlights lights shone almost directly on his face. He looked a little but scared and when an unfamiliar car stopped near him he shot his eyes in the direction waiting for any movements from the driver.

Kim Minsu immediately stepped out of the car and walked towards the boy.

"Are by any chance Roh Yoon-ho- ssi?"

"Yes."

"I'm Kim Minsu I was sent by the company to pick you up."

"Infinity Beats Entertainment?"

"Yes."

Kim Minsu went ahead to take the boy's luggage and took it to the car's trunk. The boy stood in front of the car and Park James who had been waiting in the car took his time to analyze the boy's features.

Park James wasn't a fan of human beauty but this one had definitely caught his eye. He couldn't believe the boy was real. The boy had flawless porcelain skin just like his , a heart shaped face adorned with almond shaped eyes with dark brown irises above which they were softly arched thick eyebrows,a button nose and soft pink slightly plump lips. Everything about the boy screamed delicate.

"Yoon-ho-ssi, get in the car,"Kim Minsu instructed him and opened the car door to the passenger seat for him. Roh Yoon-ho bowed thankfully and got in the car.

Immediately he entered the car he noticed the boy who was seated beside the driver facing the front. From his side profile he was definitely a beauty. Roh Yoon-ho wanted to have a full view of his face but the boy didn't turn to look at him at all nor did he even try to talk to him throughout the drive. He could only hear his warm baritone voice everytime he talked with Kim Minsu.

Park James was busy struggling with his own demons. Just in the morning he was sure no human scent would affect him much but since the boy entered the car,his sweet scent flooded the car and he could barely control himself. He was sure his blood had sweet scent as well. The longer he stayed in the car the longer he felt his fangs threatening to stick out. Today a mere human had just proven twice how wrong his judgments were;first,he claimed no human scent would drive him crazy but the boy had affected him more than he ever imagined. Secondly he predicted the boy would be ugly but he turned out to be a beauty that made his heart almost skip a beat.

"I will pass by the convenience store. I'll take a taxi back on my own. You can take him to the dorm first,"Park James said alighting from the car. He had neglected his brother's instructions and didn't carry the Night Calm's Pills to control his urge for blood so he used the convenience store as an excuse to save himself from the torture.
