The World of Athena
Athena is a world of immense scale, holding seven great kingdoms, each vastly different in culture, magic, and governance. The lands between these kingdoms are equally treacherous—floating islands, forbidden tundras, abyssal depths, and celestial domains all exist beyond civilization's grasp.
The Seven Kingdoms each represent a different philosophy on power, mana, and existence:
1. The Floating Isles of Astra
A kingdom built among the clouds, where cities float using Skybound Mana Circles—a technology allowing gravity-defying structures.
The people here revere the wind and are governed by Sky Sovereigns, who can command storms and tempests at will.
Maleficent, the Guardian of Astra, watches over its sacred forests, preventing outsiders from abusing the natural mana ley lines that flow beneath the land.
2. The Obsidian Depths
A vast underground empire, its people long abandoned the light, evolving to thrive in darkness and void magic.
The ruling class, Silent Monarchs, are said to have given up their voices in exchange for absolute command over shadows.
Whispers claim that something ancient sleeps beneath their capital, something that should never be awakened.
3. The Eternal Flame Dominion
A volcanic land where the people bond their souls to flames, forming Mana-Forged Titans that act as living warriors and weapons.
They follow the Phoenix Lords, immortals who are reborn through fire every thousand years, claiming to be the original wielders of mana.
The air itself crackles with heat, and every battle fought here is seen as a tribute to the flames that sustain their world.
4. The Silverlight Concord
A land of scholars, alchemists, and astrologers, where mana is woven into mathematical constellations to alter fate.
They believe in the Grand Equation of the Stars, which predicts all events, from a peasant's death to a kingdom's fall.
Their ruling order, the Celestial Archivists, view magic as science rather than mysticism.
5. The Forbidden Tundra
A cursed wasteland where time fractures, the dead walk, and warriors from the past appear as if they never died.
The people here live in shifting timelines, their memories often fragmented between different versions of reality.
The Frostborne Wardens, an ancient order, guard this place, ensuring that nothing… and no one… leaves.
6. The Sovereign Sea
An endless ocean dotted with floating cities, submerged kingdoms, and abyssal horrors that never surface.
It is ruled by the Tideborn, beings who are said to have merged with the sea itself.
Ships that sail too deep into the Abyssal Trench never return. Some say the ocean gods still hunger.
7. The Celestial Monarchy
The highest kingdom, built upon an unreachable peak, where only those chosen by the stars may walk.
Its ruler, known as The Star King, has reigned for ten thousand years without aging.
They claim to be the last bridge between gods and mortals, but few have ever seen them in person.
Mana & Star System
Mana in Athena is not just energy—it is alive. It flows through all things, shaping life, death, and the fate of the world.
Mana Points & Body Enhancement
The body has mana points, specific areas where mana flows and enhances abilities:
Legs → Increases speed or grants elemental travel (fire, wind, water, etc.).
Arms → Enhances physical strength, or allows magic-infused strikes.
Heart → The core of one's mana flow, stabilizing and amplifying power.
Mind → Expands perception, allowing foresight, telekinesis, or illusions.
Mastery over these points determines how efficiently one can use mana.
The Star Ranking System
Stars are a measure of one's connection to mana, determining their overall power, authority, and reality-altering potential.
1-7 Stars: Mortal Limit
1-Star: A beginner, able to sense and control small amounts of mana.
3-Stars: A warrior-class individual, capable of using mana actively in combat.
5-Stars: Elite figures, capable of shaping elements and defying basic physics.
7-Stars: The limit of most beings—these individuals can destroy cities, alter landscapes, and influence the very world.
8-10 Stars: Beyond Mortality
8-Stars (Ascendants): Those who have transcended human limits, rewriting mana itself.
9-Stars (Heralds): Beings who walk between past, present, and future, shaping history as they see fit.
10-Stars (Demigods): Legends beyond comprehension—thought to exist outside time and space, their mere presence warps reality.
Special Cases: Akatsuki Tatsu & Starless Beings
Starless (Zero-Star) Beings
Akatsuki Tatsu is starless, meaning he has no visible connection to mana—an anomaly in a world where everything is tied to it.
This should make him weaker than everyone else, yet the world itself reacts strangely to him.
Starless beings are unpredictable, as they exist outside the natural order. Some whisper that they are the key to breaking fate itself.
Even fate cannot predict their path, making them unknowable even to the Celestial Archivists of Silverlight.
Key Characters & Their Lore
Akatsuki Tatsu (Age 15) – The Starless Noble
In the previous world, he worked as a Collector for Dazai, gathering resources in secret.
Now, in this new world, he is a noble of the Tatsu family but has zero stars, making him seem powerless.
However, his existence warps fate—even the stars refuse to mark his destiny.
Medusa – The Cursed One
Her golden, serpentine eyes hold the weight of a tragic past.
Once a victim of unspeakable horrors, she was transformed into a being of mana and vengeance.
Her presence exudes both elegance and danger, a goddess-like aura tainted by sorrow.
Maleficent – The Guardian of Astra
A towering, regal woman with wings like spun shadows.
She protects Astra's forbidden lands, preventing others from exploiting its ancient mana wells.
Her green eyes hold the wisdom of ages, but also a quiet threat—those who cross her do not return.
Mard Geer – The Shadow King of the Men in Black
A former hero, he walked beside Jester in his youth.
Later, he formed The Men in Black, a secret faction controlling race trafficking and assassinations.
His motives remain unknown, but his name spreads fear across the Seven Kingdoms.
