Chapter 7 – Bonds That Grow
Khloé Kardashian knew that if she wanted Jacob Ward to truly be a part of her life, she needed to introduce him to the most important part of her life: her children, True and Tatum.
Although they were still in the early stages of something they hadn't yet labeled, Khloé felt that the time was right. Jacob had already demonstrated himself to be a man of integrity, protective and trustworthy, qualities that she valued not only for herself, but also for the people around her.
That afternoon, Khloé invited him over for lunch, making it clear that this time he would meet the children. Jacob, as always, accepted with his characteristic calm, but Khloé could tell he was a little apprehensive.
"Is it okay for you to meet my children?" she asked as she set the table on the patio.
Jacob gave her a small smile. "Kids usually like me. It's up to you to worry about whether they'll want to put up with me."
Khloé laughed. "True will love you." As for Tatum... well, he just needs time to get used to it.
Jacob just nodded, with the same air of confidence that made Khloé feel secure about her decision.
As soon as Jacob arrived, True, Khloé's oldest daughter, ran to her mother's side. She was a smart and curious girl, with a smile that lit up any room.
"Is this Mommy's friend?" True asked, looking at Jacob with curious eyes.
"Yes, my love. This is Jacob." Khloé replied, crouching down next to her daughter. "Jacob, this is True."
Jacob knelt down to her level and extended his hand.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, True. Your mommy talks a lot about how amazing you are."
True looked at him for a moment before shaking his hand firmly, something that made Jacob smile.
"Are you strong?" she asked directly, frowning.
Jacob laughed. "A little. Want to see?"
He flexed his arm, showing off his muscle, which made True laugh out loud.
"Wow! You look like the Hulk!" She exclaimed, delighted.
Khloé watched the scene with a smile, feeling relieved by the immediate connection between the two.
Tatum, Khloé's youngest son, was more shy. He was in the stroller next to her, watching everything with big, attentive eyes.
"This is Tatum," Khloé said, picking up the boy in her arms.
Jacob approached carefully, keeping a calm smile.
"Hello, Tatum," he said softly.
Tatum just looked at him, pressing his small hands against his mother's chest. Khloé stroked her son's hair and looked at Jacob.
"He's a little reserved at first, but when he opens up, he's a sweetheart."
Jacob nodded. "I understand. I can wait as long as he needs."
Khloé felt her heart warm at Jacob's patience and respect.
During lunch, True was as talkative as ever, asking Jacob questions about his life, while Tatum remained silent but clearly paying attention. Jacob answered patiently and with good humor, even telling some funny stories from his childhood and his time in the army.
"So you know how to fight?" True asked, her eyes shining.
"I do. But I hope I never have to use it. It's better to solve things by talking." He replied, looking meaningfully at her.
"My mommy can talk a lot too," True said, laughing, and Khloé rolled her eyes.
"That's right, your mommy is really good at it." Jacob replied, winking at Khloé, who laughed softly.
After lunch, Khloé suggested that they all go outside. True insisted on showing Jacob how she could play tag, and to Khloé's surprise, Jacob joined in without hesitation.
Watching Jacob run with True, pretending he couldn't reach her to make her laugh, made Khloé realize how much more he was than just the mysterious, strong man she had known. He also had a soft side, able to connect with people in a genuine way.
Meanwhile, Tatum, still in Khloé's arms, watched everything curiously.
"He's nice, isn't he?" Khloé asked her son softly.
Tatum didn't answer, but she noticed a small smile on his face.
Later, while True was busy playing with her toys on the living room floor and Tatum was resting in a portable crib, Jacob and Khloé finally had a moment alone.
"You have amazing kids," Jacob said, meaning it.
"Thank you. They're my world," Khloé replied, touching his hand. "And thank you for being so wonderful to them."
Jacob shrugged, but there was a twinkle in his eye. "They're easy to like."
Khloé smiled, leaning into him. — I think you're winning over not only me, but them as well.
Jacob stared at her for a moment before placing a hand on her cheek. — They mean a lot to you. That means they mean a lot to me, too.
Khloé felt a lump in her throat at his words. She knew Jacob was starting to become a part of her life in a way that was more than she had ever expected.
When Jacob finally said goodbye that night, True ran over to give him a hug, which surprised him.
"Are you coming back?" she asked, looking at him expectantly.
Jacob looked at Khloé, who just smiled.
"If your mom invites me, I'll come back," he replied.
True smiled. "Then you're coming back!"
Jacob laughed, ruffling her hair lightly before he left.
As she closed the door, Khloé felt a warm glow in her heart. Jacob wasn't just someone who made her feel alive; he also seemed to be fitting into her life in a way she never expected. And for the first time in a long time, she felt like her family was complete.
Chapter 8 – Glimpses of a Brighter Future
It was a quiet morning in Khloé Kardashian's mansion. Sunlight streamed in softly through the large windows of the living room, where Khloé's little son, Tatum, was playing with his building blocks on the floor. Khloé was in the kitchen making coffee, while True, her oldest daughter, watched a cartoon on television.
Jacob Ward, now a regular fixture in their lives, had come home early for the day. He was on the rug with Tatum, helping the boy build a tower. The sight of Jacob interacting with her son made Khloé's heart melt. She stood in the doorway of the kitchen, watching the two with a soft smile.
"This block goes on top, champ," Jacob said, handing Tatum a yellow block.
Tatum, who was usually reserved, laughed and took the block, shaking his head. "On top!"
Jacob laughed along, encouraging the boy. "That's right! You're good at this, you know that?"
Khloé lifted her coffee cup to her lips, but didn't drink. She was completely absorbed in the scene before her. Jacob had a natural way with children, something she had never seen in Tatum and True's biological father. Where Tristan had been selfish and uncommitted, Jacob was attentive, loving, and present.
After a while, Khloé joined them in the living room, sitting on the couch with her coffee.
"Are you having fun there, Tatum?" she asked, looking at her son.
Tatum looked at her and smiled. "Jake is cool, Mommy!"
Khloé laughed. "Really? Is he helping you build the tallest tower ever?"
"Yes!" Tatum replied enthusiastically, going back to playing.
Jacob looked at Khloé and smiled, a smile that made her heart race. He looked so at ease, as if he had always been a part of this scene.
"He's getting more and more talkative," Jacob commented. "It's good to see that."
"I think you have something to do with it," Khloé said, sincerely.
Jacob shook his head, modest as ever. "He's already amazing on his own. I'm just here to encourage him."
Later, while True and Tatum took a nap, Khloé and Jacob sat on the terrace, enjoying the rare silence. Khloé couldn't get the image of Jacob playing with Tatum out of her head. It awakened something in her, a deep desire to have someone like him by her side and with her children.
"You're so good with them," she said, breaking the silence.
Jacob looked at her curiously. "With who?"
"With True and Tatum. They really like you." Khloé smiled, looking down at the cup in her hands. "I don't think I've ever seen Tatum connect with someone so quickly."
Jacob seemed to hesitate before answering. "They're amazing kids, Khloé. You've done a wonderful job with them."
Khloé laughed, but there was an underlying sadness in her laughter. "I did the best I could. But sometimes I feel like it's not enough. Especially with what happened to their father."
Jacob leaned forward, his eyes fixed on her. "You're an amazing mother. Don't let anyone not even yourself make you doubt that."
His words touched her deeply. Khloé felt her eyes well up, but she blinked away the tears.
"You have no idea how much this means to me," she said, her voice soft.
Jacob just smiled and placed his hand over hers, a gesture that comforted her more than he could have imagined.
Over the next few days, the scene of Jacob with Tatum kept replaying in Khloé's mind. She began to wonder what it would be like if Jacob were more than just a friend, more than someone she was beginning to explore a relationship with.
What if he were part of the family? She knew it wasn't fair to compare Jacob to Tristan, but it was inevitable. While Tristan had betrayed her trust countless times and neglected his role as a father, Jacob was the opposite. He was reliable, honest, and clearly loved being around the kids.
One night, while she was putting True and Tatum to bed, Khloé sat on the edge of True's bed, watching her as she drifted off to sleep.
"Mommy?" True asked, her voice sleepy.
"Yes, sweetheart?" Khloé replied, stroking her hair.
"Is Jake going to be here forever?"
The question took Khloé by surprise. She hesitated for a moment before answering.
"Do you like Jacob?" she asked softly.
True nodded with a smile. "He's cool. He makes you laugh, and Tatum likes him too."
Khloé felt a rush of emotion and kissed her daughter's forehead.
"I really like him too."
After True fell asleep, Khloé returned to the living room, where Jacob was sitting on the couch, reading a book he had found on her bookshelf. He looked so relaxed and comfortable that for a moment she just stared at him, imagining what it would be like to have someone like him by her side every day.
That night, as they stood on the terrace again, Khloé decided to share her thoughts.
— Did you know that True asks did you do today if you're going to stay forever?" She said, looking at him.
Jacob looked up from his book, clearly surprised. "Really?"
Khloé nodded. "She really likes you. And so does Tatum."
Jacob closed the book, setting it aside. "This is important to me. I don't want to be here just for you, Khloé. I want your kids to feel comfortable with me too."
"They do," Khloé replied, her voice thick with emotion. "And I… I don't think I've ever felt this good with anyone before."
Jacob stared at her for a long moment before answering. "I've never met anyone like you either, Khloé."
The sincerity in his eyes made her realize she was on the right track. Jacob wasn't just someone she could build something with; he was someone who could help heal the wounds Tristan had left. Khloé didn't know what the future held, but as she stood there with Jacob, she felt something she hadn't felt in a long time: hope.
Chapter 9 – A New Beginning
The night was calm in Hidden Hills, with the stars shining brightly in the sky. Khloé had prepared a special dinner at home. Nothing fancy, just something intimate, which had become her new favorite since Jacob Ward entered her life. He would be home soon, and Khloé's heart was already beating faster just thinking about him.
She was wearing her favorite dress, a long, tight black dress that highlighted her curves. As she finished setting the table, she felt her phone vibrate.
"I'm coming." It was a text from Jacob.
Khloé smiled. Even simple texts from him made her feel special.
A short time later, Jacob arrived, wearing a tight white shirt that showed off the outline of his muscles and dark jeans. He carried a small bouquet of flowers in his hands, something that seemed simple, but that made Khloé feel like she was being courted by a true gentleman.
"You look beautiful." Jacob said as soon as he saw her, his eyes shining with admiration.
Khloé blushed slightly. "And you look gorgeous as always."
Jacob handed her the flowers, and Khloé smiled as she took them to the kitchen to place them in a vase. The gesture was simple, but full of meaning.
During dinner, the conversation flowed naturally, as it always did between the two. Jacob told some funny stories from his time in the Navy, and Khloé, in turn, shared some unusual situations from her life on the reality show. But there was something different about this night. Khloé could feel an energy in the air, an intensity in Jacob's gaze that went beyond what was usual.
After dinner, they went out to the terrace, where a small fireplace was lit. Jacob looked thoughtful, and Khloé could tell he was gathering the courage to say something important.
"Khloé," he began, turning to her. His voice was firm, but there was a softness in his tone.
"Yes?" she replied, looking at him curiously.
Jacob took a deep breath before continuing. "You know I'm not the kind of man who does this often. In fact, I don't think I've ever done anything like this before."
Khloé frowned, a little apprehensive. "You're scaring me, Jacob."
He laughed softly, taking her hand. "I don't want to scare you. I just want to be honest." He paused, looking straight into her eyes. "I fell in love with you, Khloé. Not just for your beauty, but for your strength, your dedication as a mother, and for who you are as a person. You've brought me something I didn't know I was looking for, but now I can't imagine living without."
Khloé felt her eyes fill with tears.
Jacob squeezed her hand lightly and continued. "I want to be by your side, officially. I want to be someone you and your children can trust. I want to take care of you, love you. So… will you date me?"
Khloé let out a nervous laugh, wiping away the tears that were already streaming down her face.
— Jacob... you have no idea how much I've been waiting for this.
She leaned into him, placing her hands on his face before kissing him deeply. It was a kiss full of emotion, passion and a promise of a future together.
"Yes, Jacob. I want to date you." — She whispered when the kiss ended, smiling at him.
After that moment, the night took an even more intense turn. Jacob, now more sure of where they stood as a couple, didn't hesitate to show all the desire he felt for Khloé.
Still on the terrace, he pulled her towards him, holding her waist firmly, his rough hands caressing Khloé's curves in a way that made her shiver from head to toe.
"You have no idea how much I want you." — He murmured in her ear, his voice husky and full of intensity.
Khloé felt her entire body heat up. She loved the way he made her feel: desired, admired and completely over the moon.
"Then show me." — She replied, looking at him with a provocative smile.
Jacob wasted no time. He lifted her in his arms easily, as if she weighed nothing, and carried her to the bedroom. Khloé loved his strength, the way he made it seem so natural to take care of her like that.
In the bedroom, the lights were low, creating an intimate atmosphere. Jacob carefully placed Khloé on the bed before leaning over her.
"You are so beautiful," he said, as his hands explored her curves with delicacy and desire.
Khloé let out a sigh of pleasure at the feel of his hands on her skin, firm and rough hands that contrasted perfectly with the softness of his touch.
"Don't stop, Jacob," she murmured, pulling him closer.
The connection between them was intense and full of passion. Every touch, every kiss, seemed to carry the promise of something deeper, something more lasting. Jacob was firm but also careful, always paying attention to Khloé's reactions, which made her feel even more comfortable giving herself completely to him.
When he ran his lips over her body, Khloe couldn't contain the moans of pleasure that escaped her lips.
"Oh my God, Jacob..." She whispered, holding his shoulders as she felt waves of pleasure take over her.
Jacob didn't respond with words. He just continued to show her with his actions how much he wanted her, exploring every part of her with an intensity that Khloé had never experienced before.
The night was long and full of passion, but also full of something else: love. Khloé felt it in every gesture Jacob made, in every kiss and every touch. When they finally lay side by side, exhausted but completely satisfied, Khloé turned to him, her fingers tracing soft lines on his chest.
"I've never felt this good before," she admitted, her voice soft in the silence of the night.
Jacob smiled, holding her hand. "Me too."
They were silent for a moment, just enjoying each other's presence. For Khloé, that moment was more than a night of passion. It was the beginning of something she knew could be extraordinary.
And for the first time in a long time, she felt like she was exactly where she was supposed to be.
