In a swift motion, that creature leaped at her. Her enhanced agility, thanks to her mana, barely gave her any seconds to escaped it's tanticals. But the creature was fast and relentless. On top of that, his continues leaps and attacks were only tiring her out, not giving her enough time to aim, let alone to shoot an arrow.

'What is this thing that I owe??' she asked the bluish system. But it didn't gave any answer. Rather thanks to it taking a part of her vision, she didn't saw an tantical coming for her throat. But fortunately she was able to tilt a little bit, saving herself only with a small gash on the side. It could have been more than this, but her neck scarf saved her nack on time.

As that weird creature didn't show any signs of getting up, she let herself fall on the ground.

This time as well, whenever it came down to extra or special bonuses . . . it glitched. She was certain she saw it for a moment. She suspiciously eyed them,

'Hey! Are you guys hiding something from me??'

Then the transparent system window came in front of her, lighting up the trees, one by one in front of her, as her very own exclusive VR scanner. Without any other choice, she started following them.

'How much. . . MORE ?!!' her voice barley audible as she took in deep breath. Without any response from the systems, she slumped down under one tree. 'I can't walk . . . anymore. . .' she knew those system weren't going to tell her anything comforting, so closed her eyes to get some rest.

For some time she was able to rest and was about to fall asleep there. . . but she felt someone or something was watching her. . .

She felt uneasy and looked around. Something in the dark. . .a few trees away. . . caught her eyes.

A silhouette of someone lying against the tree... And after she listened closely there was also a faint sound of shallow breathing. . .

She tried to get a clear look at him when suddenly the transparent system lit up-

Unable to process what just happened she stood up, 'Was that something I shouldn't have seen or it's just miscalculation on their part. . .' she asked herself, and the answer she found for herself was activating her mana.

'Nothing. . . If it was an evil it would either run or attack. . .or did it die??The breathing was . . . shallow' with that thought she walked closer to that mysterious being.

She was stunned for a moment. . .

Silver hair. . . which seemed soft. . . his tall figure alongside his strong feature. . gave him a picture of an idol. Although he was wearing a very similar uniform to her's, he looked far more superior then her. Where she was a mess, and he was an majestical wonded bloody soldier. A sword was lying beside him.

'His wounds. . . looked deep' when she got closer to him she noticed a massive wound... causing bleeding from his abdomen. Panic washed over her as she saw the area around her was completely covered with the shade of crimson. . . with countless lifeless body lying at the background.

She rushed beside him. Thankfully, he was still breathing . . .but what now??

She, herself doesn't have the strength to walk down the mountain. . . How she is going to call for help??! Her pulse quicken as she imagine the worst.

'Hey!!!' she started gently shaking him. . .And hopelessly looked at the floating system hoping they would help.

'...ve' it was faint but she heard it, a small smile of relief bloom on her face. She looked at the nameless stranger, only to met his gray gaze. They reminded her of the same sky above them.

She asked while pressing his wond with her neck scarf.

This time they were glowing brightly. . .in the dark. . . A golden glow with a bloody rad hue... the one of an predator hunting it's pray.

She activated her mana again and tried her best to get away from his grip. But he didn't even budge. He leaned closer, to her neck.

'What the hell are you going!!!!!' she yelled. But her struggle was not affecting him at all.

Suddenly she felt his lip on her neck, then tongue . . . She wasn't sure what she was feeling at that moment until there was a sharp pain. As if countless needles were piercing her skin.... It took her some time to realize he was feeding on her blood. For some unknown reason her mana started dying down.
