verdict city

James suddenly shouts with a fire in his eyes, his determination burning bright.

James: "Where is the tournament being held?!?"

His eyes are ablaze with intensity, but his expression still has a certain charm—he's cute when he's serious. Ryu can't help but laugh.

Ryu (teasing): "Heey! You really wanna see Amelia that badly? Don't worry, bro. I'll help you hit on her!"

Ryu playfully shoves James, but James looks slightly annoyed, crossing his arms.

James (irritated): "Bro, I'm serious! Where's this tournament being held?"

Ryu looks up at the spacious, gothic ceiling, letting out an exaggerated sigh.

Ryu: "It's far... really far. The tournament is in Verdict City."

Verdict City, known as the City of Wisdom and Justice, is a place far removed from where James and Ryu are currently located.

James (pouting, frustrated): "How far are we talking?"

Ryu smirks and drags James down the hallway toward the Endless Library. The massive space is filled with rows upon rows of books, with a second floor lined with students reading, writing, and studying. Benches are scattered throughout the library, creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Ryu pulls James over to a large bulletin board featuring a world map. The map shows five continents: The Baren, Sieven, Wiston, Lanera, and The Dark Continent. James and Ryu are on the Wiston Continent. Seven major cities are highlighted on the map: Holem (where they currently are), Eldoria, Varnis, Thalorin, Eryndale, Caldraun, and Verdict.

Ryu points at the map with a sigh.

Ryu: "Verdict's all the way over there... It's three cities away from here."

The Wiston Continent is known for its lush greenery and stunning landscapes, with mountains and rock formations dotting the region. It's the most suitable continent for human life, with vast forests and fertile lands.

James takes a moment to process the information, his expression growing more serious.

James (smiling with a determined, almost eerie energy): "Bring it on! I'm ready! Let's prepare!"

Ryu's eyes widen, and he can't help but slap his palm against his forehead.

Ryu (groaning): "James!! Are you crazy?! That's gonna take weeks!"

James's face becomes serious, his voice hardening with purpose.

James: "I'm doing this for a reason... it's about that attack..."

Ryu looks confused, furrowing his brow.

Ryu: "What attack?"

James meets Ryu's eyes with a spark of determination.

James: "That attack that almost destroyed Holem City... It needs justice. I can't just sit back and do nothing."

Ryu raises an eyebrow, still unconvinced. He smacks James lightly on the head in exasperation.

Ryu: "Are you seriously trying to be some kind of hero?! Why don't we just report this to the authorities instead?"

James sighs deeply, running a hand through his hair, as if struggling to put his thoughts into words.

James: "I don't know why... but I feel like this has something to do with me. I can't ignore it. Not after everything that happened."
