Early next Day, Marcus was sitting on his chair while a notebook lay open in front of him. On the notebook, Marcus had charted his plan about how to proceed.
True with his immense reservoir of knowledge, Marcus undoubtedly had not much problems in developing things which could propel him to the top of the world.
But even so, he had to put into consideration a lot of points.
First were the resources required to develop new things. He himself was dirt poor and had not an additional penny to spend on anything. He could not invent or develop anything without resources. True that he could first 'sell' his ideas and knowledge to earn some money first but Marcus was not willing to do that. Even for a moment he did not wish to be an inferior party in any negotiation. He needed a way to circumvent this problem.
The second point was the level of technological development of this world. In his previous life, when Ethan had begun his career, the technology had already grown to a very advanced state. Things which would be considered items of dream, imagination and fantasy in this world was something Ethan had taken granted for.
Thus, Marcus could not probably go on to invent any advanced technology from his world instantly. He needed to first build the lower level of technology to form the base.
And truthfully, Marcus purpose was not advance humanity or any such magnanimous dreams, he merely wanted to rule everything. He would build his empire bit by bit.
The third point was the inherent greedy nature of humans. He knew the moment the governments… the big and massive private players come to know of his capabilities, he would become a target of sort for them. Everybody would want to monopolise his capabilities and even in worst case they would want a pie of it.
He thus needed, along with money, to develop capabilities to protect him. He needed a base where he could operate freely. He needed to develop a cadre of loyal subordinates upon whom he can rely upon.
After all, it was not possible to manage everything by himself.
With all these thoughts and tentative plan in mind, Ethan wrote AI EVOLUTION 1.0 on the notebook and started to write an algorithm.

(Three Days Later)
Ethan stood almost in the centre of Patina City. The streets here clean. The buildings surrounding him were luxurious and spacious with patches of gardens running parallel to them. He was after all, standing at the power centre of the Baharta Province. It was the place where the politicians and the representatives of the people made the laws.
It was the place from where the most powerful of bureaucrats ran the province.
It was the place where the elites resided and governed or 'ruled' the province.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, Marcus was not here to put his hand in that bee hive. He was here to get his work done at a rather obscure place.
He was here to register his company, his first enterprise. For the purpose, he needed to visit the department of commerce of the Baharta Province.
Using the signboards and without much difficulty, Ethan arrived at the department of commerce and as one would expect, the segment of the commerce department where new companies were registered was not that crowded.
The most of the process had to be done online which Marcus had already completed efficiently. At the commerce department, he needed to gain the final approval after submitting some of his documents like Identity card and all.
He found an empty counter and placed a file on the counter. A middle aged woman was behind the counter.
She looked up towards Marcus and picked up the file.
"Just 18 and already registering your own start up," the lady commented as she started to go through the file and verified it with the information on her computer.
Marcus merely smiled and did not respond.
It took few minutes for the lady to complete the process as she verified it one last time.
"Name of the company?" She questioned.
"Eternal Origin," replied Marcus with a hint of pride in his voice.
"You Marcus Clifton alone holds all the shared and ownership of the company," she added.
"Yes," Marcus confirmed.
With another nod, the lady picked up a stamp and stamped it on the final page.
"Done," she commented as slid the file back to Marcus.
Marcus picked up the file and placed another file on the counter. The lady frowned as she turned the pages of the file.
After going through the file, a hint of frustration appeared on her face.
"It had been few minutes since your company was registered and you are already registering a subsidiary for it?" She said; clearly frustrated at the increase in work for her.
Marcus nodded. Though, frustrated the lady busied herself in doing her work. Like the previous time, it took her few minutes to complete the same.
"Name of the subsidiary?" She questioned.
"AI Evolution," Marcus replied.
"Eternal Origin has the complete ownership of AI Evolution," the lady commented as she stamped the documents.
Marcus clearly happy at getting one of his steps completed picked up the file from the counter.
He turned around to left but then stopped abruptly and turned back.
"Mam," he said drawing the attention of the middle aged lady. "Remember the name- AI Evolution."
The lady looked at him in confusion while Marcus gave a smile and walked away.
(As I have already said, I may not be technically correct at few of the business terms or such a simple process of registering a company may seem absurd. But please remember that I do not have a vast knowledge of business or technology. The focus of the story would be the world building.)
