Hey, I’m not a thief

"Who are you, and why are you in my house?"

(Rehan, feeling embarrassed, says,)

"Ma'am, please adjust your clothes first—they're a bit disarranged."

(The woman looks at herself, notices her clothes, and quickly fixes them, her face turning red with embarrassment. She looks at Rehan, who turns his face away in discomfort. The woman yells,)

"You thief! You came into my house to steal and take advantage of me! I'll make you regret this!"

(The woman quickly fixes her clothes and grabs a stick, yelling,)

"Stop right there! Today, I'm going to make sure you don't forget this. You thief! You came here to steal and harass me? I'll break your legs!"

(The woman starts chasing Rehan around the house.)

Rehan says,

"Wait, wait! I'm not a thief! You're misunderstanding me. Please listen to me!"

Woman says,

"No, I won't listen to anything! Stop running, and I'll show you what happens next!"

(Rehan panics as he runs around the house. While running, he trips and falls. As the woman lifts the stick to hit him, Rehan screams,)

"Wait! I came to deliver your parcel. I rang the doorbell, but no one opened it, so I came in. Your door was already unlocked. If you don't believe me, look—here's your name and address on the list, and your parcel is right here!"

(The woman pauses and says,)

"Let me see. Are you telling the truth?"

(She takes the list from Rehan, and after checking it, she remembers ordering something.)

Woman says,

"Oh, I forgot I had ordered something. I'm so sorry. I was chasing you around the house for no reason. Please forgive me."

(Rehan, still scared, backs away and says,)

"No, no! You're still going to hit me, aren't you? Stay away from me!"

Woman says,

"Why are you so scared? There's no need to be afraid anymore."

Rehan says,

"Why shouldn't I be scared? You were just chasing me with a stick to beat me! Please stay where you are. Sign next to your name on the list, and I'll leave immediately. I have more deliveries to make."

(The woman, feeling ashamed, says,)

"I've never been seen in that condition before, and I thought you were trying to take advantage of me. That's why I got angry. I'm really sorry."

Rehan thinks to himself,

"Hmph, just 'got angry,' you say? You were chasing me to beat me to death. How am I supposed to trust you?"
