Gogo says,
"What day are you talking about?"
Rehan says,
"Don't you remember when I lost some money once and couldn't find it? You came to help me."
Gogo says,
"Oh, you're talking about that. That was a long time ago."
Rehan says,
"Even if you don't remember, I still do. I still remember how you came to save me."
(This was when Rehan and Gogo met for the first time.)
Rehan was 8 years old back then, and he rarely went outside or wandered around. One morning, while sitting at home, Rehan heard a loud noise near the door. He went to check and saw that his grandpa was lying on the ground. Shocked, he screamed and ran toward him.
Rehan says,
"Grandpa, what happened to you? Why are you lying here like this?"
Grandpa didn't respond. When Rehan touched him, he saw that blood was coming out of his body. Seeing this, Rehan was at a loss for what to do.
Rehan says,
"Grandpa, why are you bleeding? How did you get hurt? What should I do now? I need to stop the bleeding first, or your condition will get worse."
Rehan somehow dragged Grandpa into the room, removed his shirt, and found a large cut bleeding profusely. He searched the house for clean cloth but couldn't find anything suitable. Finally, he used a piece of Grandpa's clothing to stop the bleeding. He stayed by Grandpa's side, and as time passed, it was already afternoon. Grandpa regained consciousness and saw Rehan sitting beside him, dozing off. Grandpa noticed that Rehan had used one of his good shirts to stop the bleeding.
Grandpa says,
"Rehan, you used one of my good shirts to stop the bleeding?"
At that moment, Rehan woke up and noticed Grandpa was awake.
Rehan says,
"Grandpa, what happened to you? Who hurt you? You were bleeding so much; I was so scared something might happen to you."
Tears began to form in Rehan's eyes as he spoke.
Grandpa says,
"Ah, nothing serious happened to me. This cut was from a dog. I accidentally stepped on its tail, and it attacked me."
Rehan says,
"Yeah, Grandpa, you're terrible at lying. Do you think I'm dumb enough to believe a dog gave you this cut? You're not the type to just sit still and let a dog bite you."
