The impact was deafening.
"SKEE!"
It was also followed by a shocked roar of the massive Black Spider as Achilles' two hands and newly generated Appendages pierced into the Black Spider, focusing on its head more than anything else!
The spiked generated limbs pierced in and out mechanically, multiple holes being made on the body of the Black Spider as its skin and muscle sizzled and melted from the poison.
After another second of shocked cries and squeals…
THUMP!
Achilles breathed heavily as the massive body of the Black Spider slumped down.
Its top was sizzling and still melting as it twitched, its eyes and head pierced into as it no longer moved!
In the surroundings, nine smaller Black Spiders looked at this scene and screeched out with madness, Achilles moving fast as he dug into the head of the dead beast below him and took out…three Evolutius Crystals.
Three, and they seemed bigger in size and much brighter as he quickly put them in his pockets while roaring out towards the body of the Black Spider below him.
"Assimilate!"
…!
A red light of warning flashed before the massive corpse was turned into liquid goo that surged into him.
DUM!
The beat of his heart felt even more intense as the burning feeling of power grew, his figure touching the floor of the Catacombs as he looked towards the 9 Black Spiders rushing towards him…and shot out towards the nearest two.
At the same time, the updated panel flashed in his eyes.

The single massive spider counted for 2 as his assimilation rate reached 40%, and he entirely let go of any other thoughts while he rushed towards the other Spiders here.
BOOM!
His figure smashed onto a spider like a moving train, knocking its body back with so much force that it screeched while slamming into the wall of the Catacombs.
The spear-like limbs of another spider nearby rushed towards him, but he grabbed them with his own hands and snapped them in half while his two extra Appendages shot out and stabbed into the head of the Black Spider!
Dark green goo sizzled as its body slumped down right after, and Achilles rushed to the other spider he knocked into the wall as he pierced the center of its eyes and caused it to turn lifeless as well.
SKEE!
Screeches came from behind as a spiked limb tore down and pierced into his shoulder, but it was only able to sink an inch before it stopped as he turned around and roared out, the pain causing everything to seem brighter as he pulled on the leg piercing him with one hand and used his other three hands to pierce the Spider's head!
A third one slumped down as he breathed heavily.
Six remained, and they mindlessly rushed towards him as he also flung himself towards them!
A green light of poison and a purple glow of Regeneration covered his body as a whole minute passed.
A minute of brutality and devastation as all screeches died down.
Dark green blood painted the floor of the Catacombs.
9 corpses of Black Spiders twitched as they were torn apart and devastated; their heads and eyes melted from poisonous blows as Achilles…stood at the very center looking at everything while breathing heavily.
Two Appendages fell and turned into dust on his sides along with the exoskeleton armor over his hands.
On various parts of his body, what used to be his white shirt and pants had holes in many areas, and yet his white skin was spotless without any injuries as they had long since healed!
He raided a nest…and was able to survive as after a few seconds of recompense, he began to move.
As always, he would not push his luck.
He gathered what he needed first before anything else, looting the bodies of the Black Spiders and pulling out a total of 27 Evolutius Crystals that could definitely not fit in his pockets.
He took off his shirt a moment later and gathered the Evolutius Crystals into it like a sack, and he then prepared himself as he went towards the twitching bodies of the Black Spiders while calling out.
'Assimilate. Assimilate!'
One. Two. Three!
Multiple corpses turned into black goo that was absorbed into his body, a red light flashing each time as after the sixth one…he stopped!
He saw the percentage under Organic Arachnida Lifeform reach 100%.
And…
BZZT!
His body trembled as if he was getting electrocuted, and he felt a surge of pain coursing throughout his body before a surge of heat bloomed!
Heat.
A fiery sense of heat that almost caused him to roar out!
But he contained himself and weathered through it as his body felt an indescribable sensation- as if every part of him was buzzing with excitement and power.
He felt a searing pain on the back of his shoulder as when he turned to see, he observed a small black tattoo.
A tattoo of the head of a spider with 9 eyes!
It felt like it was branded into him as the sensation of pain left, only leaving behind the exhilarating heat of power as if his body could face dozens of other Spiders without an issue.
His shirt was being used as a sack as currently, his upper body was laid bare.
Even though he used to work in construction, his eating habits guaranteed that he never had something like a six-pack, but now…
He looked down to see the outline of clear abdominal muscles, with his also showing definition as he looked toned.
He clenched his hands and felt the surreal power coursing through him, his eyes going towards the panel to see just how drastically things had changed compared to before!
