In fact, Sett himself hated the ability.
"What's up?" she asked.
"This ability's name is… Murder Soul. I don't like using it, but you asked." He stepped back a few paces, giving himself space. "I need something to kill first." His body blurred in place, him having moved faster than normal sight.
When he returned, there was a caterpillar in his hand.
"Another ability that has to do with corpses?" she asked, frowning. "Why are you so wary of it?"
Sett didn't hesitate—he crushed the caterpillar with a thought.
For a moment, nothing happened.
The corpse twitched. A shimmer passed through it, and from the ruined, bloodied husk, something unnatural emerged.
