Birthday party

The palace bell rang telling me that the party has started , today was my fifteenth birthday and my parents are holding a party for me. I looked at one of the mirrors in my huge magnificent room and frowned.

 I looked behind myself and saw Mary my personal maid searching for a good dress for me to wear. She brought a black dress which looked like something from my grandmother's time. 

"You know what , Mary I think I will choose the dress that I would wear. Beside I am not trying to impress anyone only myself" I said. "But your father told me ..." 

"I think that would be enough you can leave" I interrupted. 

"But.."

 "There is no but , get out !" I shouted at her. She held her mouth in horror and fled out of the room.

"Yes , that's me the crown princess of the gorgeous and popular kingdom of Bradon.

The princess with the longest and most beautiful hair in all of the seven kingdoms. A princess that looks so quiet and polite at appearance but who is so rude and rough inside.

 I am so attractive and I am the only daughter of the king of Bradon king James Adion and his classic Queen my mother Queen Grace Adion. 

I love shooting arrows and fighting with swords. And the last but not the least I am very very very fashionable. My name is Elena but my friends call me Lena.

Introductions now gone , now let's get back to me in my room looking for a suitable dress. 

I went into my wardrobe and saw a simple but nice light blue dress , it was designed with flowers at the upper body. I dressed very quickly to avoid my father's "not good to be late lectures". I climbed down the stairs from my room to the ball hall.

As I was descending the stairs all eyes were on me. 

And can you guess what they were thinking? , well I know they might be thinking how does she knows the shoe , hair and dress that matched together. I walked over to my mother and father and they introduced me to a pirate looking man, whom they introduced as King Arthur of Prague. 

Prague is one of the seven kingdoms in the empire of Zolth. And also one of the second most powerful after my own Kingdom Bradon.

There are a total of seven kingdoms in Kelothar and they include; Bradon, Prague, Valeania, Drakonia, Elvor, Karsar and Iraesh.

"How do you do ? Princess Elena" he asked. 

"I am doing quite well sir thank you" I replied. Just as I said the last word I felt a sharp pain in my back and I turned to see that a clumsy fool have just shook me with his plate.

 I wanted to shout at him but my father was faster than me and started to introduce him as the pirate looking man's son. My introductory father didn't even tell the fool to say sorry.

"Okay you should talk about yourselves while I meet the other guests" my father said and left with my mom and the other man. I looked at my mom and found her looking at me with a look on her face saying "don't misbehave , be a good princess and please don't trash him on our cupcakes".

That made me to laugh because I am very good and popular at thrashing people on cupcakes bouquets and maybe it is because I don't fancy them. But if I thrash him it will be fair because he shook me his plate first. "So princess eh eh " he began "princess Elena" I finished. "I am prince Edward the crown and legitimate prince of Prague" he introduced. "Yeah so you can now get lost" I said and walked away. 

As I reached the place where wine are served I spotted Hayden with her red hair like a huge fire flame. She is a girl that I despise so much , she irritates me so much that anytime I see her I feel like beating her. I went to her and said "Hayden I never thought you would come to my party". "Don't get it wrong I didn't come because you invited me , I heard a rumour that the handsome and fashionable prince of Prague is coming. I can't wait to see him they said that he has eyes like fireballs" she replied.

" Hsndsome? , fashionable ? and has eyes like fireballs ? , the fool I just saw definitely don't have these attributes at all. In fact he was the opposite of those attributes.

"So you didn't come because I invited you?" I asked.

"Not at all" she replied, I looked at Hayden with pure hate ,I invited her because I want to make her feel bad but it seem I did her good.

I looked at the rope on my dress and found them untied "please tie this for me will you Hayden" I pleaded. "Of course" she replied. She came close and starts to tie it. 

Suddenly a servant with a tray of drinks was passing by and Hayden tried to push me to it. I lost my balance but did not fall instead I pushed her forward and she fell on the wine glasses. The noise made all people to turn in our direction. My mother and father came running to help Hayden asking her if she was okay. They didn't even spared me a glance so I just made for my room without talking to anybody.

"Elena come back here " my father ordered. 

I didn't hesitate but majestically walked up the stairs.

"Elena, don't make me repeat myself" he continued but I didn't look backwards until I entered my room.

 Mary was inside ironing my clothes. I undressed , wore my night dress and laid to sleep. I know that I would be scold tomorrow but no one would believe that she tried to push me first. They would say "our princess is so rude , arrogant and ill-mannered".

"And that's how my fifteenth birthday party went"
