Naga Princess (3)

Chapter 20: Naga Princess 3

The misunderstanding that we were intruders was resolved, and the three of us decided to go to the Naga village to tend to Sharin's injuries.

A Naga girl led us to her village. The houses are built on several pillars and stilts. Instead of stairs, there is a slope leading to the entrance of the house.

"Mom, where's the medicine box?"

There are no partitions in the room, and unlike the Harpy houses, there are no large furniture pieces like desks or chairs. At the back of the room, a woman who seemed to be the mother was lying down, weaving a basket.

"Oh my, what have you done this time?"

"Hello! Sorry to bother you!"

Piyo greeted cheerfully and sat down on a nearby mat. I slowly laid Sharin down, who had been leaning on me.

I received the medicine box from the Naga girl and began treating Sharin. Fortunately, the injury didn't seem severe enough to break any bones. Her condition gradually improved over time.

"By the way, I understand the harpy and the thieving cat, but who are you?"

The girl looked at me and furrowed her brow.

"I'm Arisugawa Hiroaki. These two are Piyo and Sharin. It would take too long to explain my situation, so I'll keep it brief: it's as if I was transported from another world to this one."

"Huh? Are you crazy?"

Well, that's a natural reaction.

"That's what I thought at first, but it seems to be a true story based on the clothes he was wearing and his knowledge."

"We're looking for a strong wizard so Hiro can return home."

The girl still looked at me suspiciously.

"Hmm, I don't really get what you're saying, but I'll be nice to you. My name's Nina. So, thieving cat... no, Sharin, where are you all headed?"

Sharin unfolded the map she was holding and showed it to Nina.

"I see, you were originally near the city."

If you look closely at the map, you'll see a large city marked where Sharin is pointing.

"Hmm, what kind of city is that?"

"It's a city ruled by humans."
