Chapter 46: The Bee Unable to Fly 1

The five bid farewell to Filiana's brother and set off for their next destination.

"By the way, Filiana, do you have any plans for where you're going from here?"

Filiana nodded in response to Sharin's question and picked up an old map.

"We investigated the basement after the fight. This map shows where they were receiving their orders."

"Hmm, it's quite far. I've never been this far before."

The map is filled with various symbols and later inscriptions. All I knew was that there was a big city nearby and that to get there we would have to cross the sea.

"Let's rent a boat in the town up ahead."

However, if walking, it would naturally be a considerable distance to reach this port city.

"Now that I think about it, what happened to the Orcs? There seemed to be fewer of them than I thought."

Sharin answers my question.

"Most of them probably dispersed after driving us out when they fought against my tribe. In other words, they were just temporary mercenaries."

After walking a bit along the road, we decided to have lunch. I still can't get used to walking for long periods and I'm already starting to get tired.

I can't understand why Piyo, who is smaller than me, is so energetic, but maybe it's natural.

Thinking about it, I can't see her anymore, even though she was just there a moment ago. When I asked the other three, they realized the same thing as me.

"Really? I'll go look for her."

I entered the forest and called Piyo's name. After a while, I spotted her crouching in the distance. It seems she is talking to someone.

I approached and called her out loudly.

"Hey, what are you doing here? Don't disappear like that again Piyo."

"Oh, let me introduce you to Hiro. This is Hanenashi."

In front of Piyo was an insect with a human form, a species I had never seen before.
