Chapter 51: New Friends

After the battle with the Killer Bees, Hanenashi escorted us out of her tribe's territory.

Hanenashi is looking at me with her big eyes.

"Well, I was just running away."

"I wish I could be as strong as you guys."

"Well, then why don't you come with Piyo and the others?"

Upon hearing these words, everyone looked at Piyo.

"Ah, i-is it okay if I go with you?"

Filiana grabbed Nina's shoulder, seeming to want to say something.

"But are you okay leaving your friends? Wouldn't it be a nuisance if you suddenly disappeared from your tribe?"

Sharin, who was about to proceed on her way, stopped and turned to ask.

"It's okay with that, it doesn't matter if I'm not around."

"Well, then it's settled! But I really don't like your name Hanenashi."

As Piyo said, her name comes from the fact that she was born with short wings. It's more like an insult.

"You can call me whatever you want. Our species are very similar to each other and there are many of us, so we choose our own names."

"So, hmm, what do you think would be good, Hiro?"

I was sure that Piyo would be the one to think of it, but now she passed the responsibility to me, there is nothing I can do.

"Um... how about Paulina?"

"Seriously?!"

Despite Nina's remark, Hanenashi is happy with her new name.

"Ehehe, I was given a new name. I'm looking forward to being able to meet you all."

"Yeah, nice to meet you, Pauline."

"Don't pull our leg."

"You don't have legs to pull."

Nina is angry with Sharin's criticism. Well, I'm happy because it's more reassuring to have more friends.

After some more conversation, the three introduced themselves to our new friend.
