Chapter 53: Dishonest Goblin 2

As soon as we left the city, the luggage was stolen by some Goblins.

As if mocking our state of panic, the Goblins left.

"Ugh, damn it, what was up with those imps? Hey, is everyone okay?"

Luckily, I was just tired and didn't seem to have been injured.

"My God, the Goblins were waiting for us to leave our luggage behind."

"They may be small, but they are cunning and act in groups like now. Individually, they are not a big problem, but when they get together, they become a real nuisance."

I agreed dejectedly with Sharin's explanation.

It seems they were really cunning, as they skillfully stole only the luggage that contained food.

"Oh no, all of Piyo's snacks are gone!"

"For now, let's calm down, fill our stomachs with what's left of the food and then we'll think about it."

Everyone agreed with what I said, except Nina.

"Huh? What are you talking about? That food won't last even a day! It's at least two more days to get to the next city from here!"

Nina then started packing her things roughly.

"Break is over, let's go."

And then she started moving forward quickly. I had no choice but to follow her in silence.

"Can I borrow a map?"

Nina took the map from Filiana and left the trail towards the bushes.

"Nina-san, it's dangerous over there."

Paulina shouted worriedly behind her. Ignoring her voice, Nina continued towards the forest, where the tall grass grew densely.

"She's planning to cut through that forest. It's a shortcut, but we must be careful because we don't know what's hiding there."

Nina hurried, cutting the grass around her without even looking back. The area around is like a jungle, with dense grass and tall trees.

We pushed the grass aside so we could stay together.
