When Yang Hui arrived above the mission location, the second task was nearing its conclusion. The Earth Sphere Federation's forces were retreating one after another, the frontline supply base was destroyed, and even the last attempt to chase down the Earth Sphere Federation's army, the **Longnose-type**, was cut in half by the **Enforcer Gundam**.
"Shh~ not bad," Yang Hui whistled and complimented.
"That sound! Is it... Mr. Myer?"
"Mr. Myer is here too?"
As the public channel was open, the three of them naturally knew that Myer had arrived.
"Yeah, you're fighting my creations, of course, I had to come take a look," Myer joked.
"Heh, sorry about that," the Di Randi brothers teased.
"Doesn't matter. Looking at them, after I left, they haven't made much progress, so they deserve it."
"Heh, Mr. Myer, don't you feel guilty saying that?" Lyle remarked.
Setsuna and Neil were fine, as they were a pair, and even the upgraded Gundams struggled to be shaken by the Iron Man improvements and **Longnose-type**. However, Lyle had more difficulty at the supply base.
Anti-air modules, self-propelled Iron Men, and other standard defensive measures at the supply base left countless small dings on the **Wisdom Gundam**'s armor. Though they didn't penetrate, they still suppressed the **Wisdom Gundam**'s firepower. Although the base was eventually destroyed, it still caused significant trouble.
"You deserved it! Who told you to underestimate them? Let's go, time to withdraw."
"Roger that."
The three Gundams launched and headed toward their designated retreat routes, while Yang Hui's **Secret Gundam** headed in a different direction.
"Eh? Mr. Myer, aren't you coming with us?" Neil asked.
"No, not this time."
"That's a shame."
"We'll have other chances. After you return, make sure to do the debriefing. Neil, you're the older brother, so teach your younger brother a lesson."
"Wait a second! Mr. Myer, I didn't—"
"Roger! I'll make sure to teach him a good lesson, hehe."
"Neil!"
As the distance between them increased, the public channel communication was cut off. Myer had set the auto-return mode for the **Secret Gundam** and stopped controlling it.
"Hmm? Coming straight at me? Well, let me see what you've got, Gundam!"
Graham didn't panic. Instead, he became more excited, transforming into MS mode in mid-air, firing his linear rifle, and blue high-speed rounds shot out.
But in the next second, Graham completely forgot about controlling the **Flag Gundam**, because…
Several pink beams streaked through the air, each striking one of the rounds fired from the linear rifle.
"Such shooting skills! Not bad, Gundam. But... what now?"
The **Flag Gundam** transformed again in mid-air, spinning into its MA form, and directly circled behind the **Secret Gundam**. The linear rifle aimed at the back of the **Secret Gundam**, while the plasma sword aimed to strike.
But it didn't work on the **Secret Gundam**—or rather, it didn't work on Yang Hui.
The **Secret Gundam** performed a backflip in the air, narrowly avoiding the bullets and plasma sword, swapping positions with the **Flag Gundam** and coming up behind it.
"What!?" Graham was surprised by such an extreme maneuver, but before he could turn around, two beams shot out and pierced the **Flag Gundam**'s arms, severing its forearms. The **Flag Gundam** lost its combat ability.
"This move…" Graham looked at the **Secret Gundam** floating before him, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. But he couldn't remember who it was.
However, the next second, he knew exactly who it was—and became incredibly agitated.
He watched as the **Secret Gundam** suddenly holstered its GN submachine gun at its waist, raised its hand into a fist, and extended the longest finger, the otherwise unremarkable Gundam face suddenly showing a mocking grin in Graham's eyes.
"You bastard!" Graham roared, nearly instinctively, without thinking.
The pinpoint shooting, the extreme rolling maneuvers, and the middle finger... this could only be Yang Hui.
Yang Hui had no intention of conversing with Graham. He flicked his middle finger and quickly sped off, leaving the **Flag Gundam** behind, filled with useless, furious rage.
"This bastard! You've even joined in on this? …No, it would be abnormal if you didn't join in. Heh, interesting, this is getting more and more interesting," Graham muttered, slowly bringing the **Flag Gundam** down to the sea, waiting for rescue, his face wearing an increasingly excited grin, showing no signs of defeat.
...
"That guy should have figured out it's me by now, right? Hehe, don't be too jealous, Graham," Myer thought as he flew toward Wang Li Mei's private island, soon returning to the hangar.
"Welcome back, Mr. Yang," Wang Li Mei had been waiting for him in the hangar. "Did you finish the mission?"
"Mission completed flawlessly. As for the Earth Sphere Federation's MS, they haven't changed much since I left," Yang Hui said with a disdainful expression, as if to say, "my creations really haven't amounted to much."
"Exactly, that's why our mission went so smoothly, isn't it?" Wang Li Mei smiled with her hand covering her mouth.
"I know that, but... wait, something's off. Based on my understanding of those old geezers, this shouldn't be the case," Yang Hui suddenly looked serious.
"You mean..."
"Can we contact the **Tollermy**?" Yang Hui asked.
"Sure."
"Get in touch with **Tollermy** immediately, I need to speak with Princess Huang."
"Understood."
The communications room was quickly set up. Yang Hui didn't push Wang Li Mei away and began talking with Princess Huang.
However, the moment the screen connected, Yang Hui noticed something was wrong. Princess Huang's smile was too...
"Ah? How come this busy person remembered to contact me?"
*Cough, cough*... "I just went to supervise them finishing the mission and immediately contacted you. See, I didn't even have time to change out of my flight suit. I missed you so much," Yang Hui's survival instinct told him to flatter her quickly, or things were going to take a turn.
"Really? Are you sure you're not living with some young girl and getting too comfortable?"
*Puff~ Cough, cough...* Yang Hui nearly choked, then turned to Wang Li Mei, who was smiling brightly, responding like she had found the cause of the issue.
After giving her a fierce glare, Yang Hui quickly explained, "You know I'm not interested in underdeveloped little girls, right?"
*Crack~*
Wang Li Mei's smile remained, but a "hashtag" shaped vein appeared on her forehead, and a crack appeared on the PAD in her hand.
"Is that so?"
"Yes! Yes!"
"Hmph, good. Now tell me, what's the matter?" Princess Huang wasn't going to believe Yang Hui's story about missing her as the real reason for contacting her through such an expensive long-distance call. Neither of them were fooling around. They both knew when to take care of business, and starting this long-distance communication meant there was something important to discuss.
Yang Hui immediately relayed what happened during today's mission to Princess Huang.
Princess Huang paused thoughtfully and then asked, "So you think this mission was just a decoy set by the Earth Sphere Federation, and the next mission will definitely face obstacles?"
"There might not be major trouble, but it won't be as easy as this one," Yang Hui nodded seriously.
He understood the capabilities of those old scientists in the academy all too well. The data he had left behind could never be fully realized, but completing about sixty to seventy percent was absolutely possible. When he left, he had heard from Sergei that the **Encirclement** experimental MS had already been rolled out. Although he didn't know the test results, if there were no issues, it should have already been mass-produced and deployed by now. Why, four years later, was the Earth Sphere Federation still using Iron Man types?
And why didn't even VEDA or Celestial Being's intelligence network have any reports on the Earth Sphere Federation deploying new MS?
There were only two possibilities: one, the **Encirclement** experimental MS had failed, and development wasn't finished. Two, those crafty old foxes had hidden it very well to achieve some specific goal.
"Understood. It seems we'll need to revise the plan for the third mission. I'll run some simulations through VEDA, and you should stay on alert."
"Mm, you be careful too."
As they were about to end the communication, Wang Li Mei took Yang Hui's place and said, "Mr. Yang, could you step out? I have some special intelligence to share with Princess Huang."
Both Yang Hui and Princess Huang looked puzzled. What kind of special intelligence would make even Yang Hui, the second-in-command of Celestial Being, leave the room?
But Princess Huang quickly realized and said to Yang Hui, "Go ahead, Mr. Yang. Wang Li Mei and I need to discuss something."
"But..."
"Hurry up! Do you think resources grow on trees? When did you start eavesdropping on women's private conversations!?"
Although Yang Hui didn't know why Princess Huang was suddenly angry, he chose to obey and leave. It didn't seem related to the plans, so it was better to leave.
After Yang Hui had left, the smiles on the two women's faces vanished simultaneously. Though they were separated by distance, their gazes collided through the screen, sparks flying between them.
"Princess Huang, I want to talk to you about Mr. Yang," Wang Li Mei spoke first.
"We really need to talk," Princess Huang responded.
