In just a few days, the Throne Angels (three units) launched frenzied attacks on the major bases of the three great nations, leaving no one unscathed before departing, resulting in countless casualties.
Unfortunately, their seventh mission targeted the base of the [Dingwu] troops, and they tasted the bitter fruit of relying on the performance of their machines.
Under the encirclement of [Into the Array] and [Beiwei], Throne Zwei had its arm severed by Soma Peries' specially modified [Into the Array]. All eight GN Fangs were destroyed. If it weren't for Sergei's [Beiwei] blocking a shot for the [Into the Array], distracting Soma Peries, the second unit would have been lost there.
"Damn it! One after another... what the hell is going on with those MS?!" Michael cursed as he piloted the damaged Throne Zwei back to their secret base.
"Exactly! This is nothing like the intel we received! Brother Johann, UNION is the same, and so is the Human Reform League. Didn't they say that Gundam's performance far exceeds those outdated MS?" Nena complained. Although Throne Drei wasn't heavily damaged, it didn't mean she wasn't frustrated.
"I don't know. VEDA hasn't provided the relevant intel. I'll contact Laguna and ask him to investigate it thoroughly."
Although the [Trinity] team could connect to VEDA, the connection was merely a backdoor that Ribbons had secretly opened, and they didn't have much authority granted to them.
The detailed data on the Human Reform League's [Into the Array] and [Beiwei], as well as UNION's [Flag Bearer] and [Flag Snatcher], were classified at a very high level. Ribbons regarded these machines as the standard units for his forces after successfully taking control of Earth. After all, these were MS personally designed by Yang Hui, and they were entirely designed according to the specifications for equipping GN Drives, far superior to the GN-X [Calamity Type] designed by the lower ranks.
In terms of both theoretical performance and appearance, they perfectly matched Ribbons' aesthetic. A king's retinue naturally required powerful and handsome knights.
At that moment, Throne Drei suddenly came to a halt.
"Nena, what's wrong?" Johann asked.
"What the hell! We're working our butts off while you guys are having a blast!" With that, the third unit broke away from the formation and descended.
"Nena, what are you doing? We need to hurry back to the base to maintain our machines and prepare for the next mission," Johann said.
"I'm just going to have a little fun."
"Wait, Nena..."
"Hey, you're so naggy, Brother Johann."
The communication was abruptly cut off, leaving Johann with a headache, but Michael said, "Forget her, big brother. If Nena wants to play, let her play. I'm also really annoyed with those people below. If it weren't for us, they wouldn't be living so comfortably now!"
"…Let's go first. Nena will catch up," Johann conceded after Michael's persuasion, giving up on stopping Nena.
Although Johann was calm, he was still a 19-year-old young man. He had been working tirelessly without much rest, while the people below were having so much fun, which was quite frustrating to watch.
...
Below, in a magnificent castle, a grand wedding was taking place, attended by major corporations from various countries, and Louise was among them.
She originally didn't want to attend; she didn't know anyone at the wedding, and many people were flirting with her, making her feel nauseous. Did they think she was just a naive girl? Couldn't they see they were only interested in her body and her family's wealth? She would rather be happily hanging out with Saji in the neon district than deal with this disgusting scene.
But since it was her cousin getting married, she had no choice but to attend.
After finally getting rid of those who were flirting with her, Louise was happily chatting on the phone with Saji when the call suddenly dropped.
"Huh? Why is there no signal?" Louise wondered why the call had cut off so abruptly. Looking up, she saw three red shooting stars streaking across the sky. "That light... could it be Gundam! So cool! It's my first time seeing it in person!"
"That's Gundam!"
"How amazing! So handsome!"
"This is the best wedding gift ever, to see Gundam passing by."
As more and more people noticed the Gundam, they exclaimed in awe, even pulling out cameras to capture this precious moment.
But they quickly realized something was wrong. One of the Gundams broke away from the formation and flew toward them, even raising its gun barrel aimed directly at them.
This was not the best wedding gift; it was a one-way ticket to hell.
"Just die already."
Throne Drei pulled the trigger, and a red beam of light descended, getting closer in the despairing eyes of the crowd.
At that moment, a flurry of blue feathers suddenly intervened, blocking the path of the beam. The red beam struck it, dissipating into sparkling points of light.
"What!?"
Throne Drei looked around, trying to see who had ruined her plans.
Suddenly, Gundam Rasiel charged in at high speed, wielding a GN Beam Saber, and without hesitation, slashed down at the third unit.
The third unit hastily drew its sword. Although it avoided being cut in half, it was still sent flying by the tremendous force.
"Ah~!!"
The third unit spun through the air multiple times before stabilizing. Nena recognized that the attacker was Gundam Rasiel, and she couldn't understand why Yang Hui would attack her.
"Why!? Darling!"
"Shut up, little girl. Why are you attacking civilians?" Yang Hui's cold voice came from Gundam Rasiel.
"No reason! I'm just annoyed! We are working so hard without a moment's rest, while they are playing around. I just wanted to teach them a lesson!" Nena replied indignantly.
"Is that so? I understand."
"You agree? I knew you wouldn't..." Nena was happy, thinking Yang Hui approved of her actions.
But the next second, her heart sank because the gun barrel of Gundam Rasiel was now aimed at Throne Drei. Yang Hui's voice rang out again, not directed at her, but at the civilians below.
"The red particles will harm the human body. Please evacuate immediately."
"What's going on? Is there infighting?"
"Gundam versus Gundam?"
"Forget about that! Let's hurry and evacuate! That blue Gundam just said the red particles will harm people."
Although they didn't know what was happening or why there was a battle between Gundams, they understood that the red Gundam wanted to kill them without reason, while the blue Gundam was saving them and protecting them.
"Darling..."
"From now on, the [Trinity] team is confirmed to not belong to the [Celestial Being] forces. All actions will be classified as armed conflict, and the [Celestial Being] forces will intervene with force against your actions. You... do not deserve [Celestial Being] and are even less worthy of being Gundam Meisters!" The cold voice interrupted Nena, and without hesitation, he fired.
"GN-bit deployed, Haro, please take care of the civilians below."
"Understood! Understood!"
