After about twenty minutes of talking, Christian dismissed Morgan from his office.
"Thank you for visiting me, but I unfortunately have a very important meeting here soon and I won't be able to keep you company much longer."
"Oh, okay. I'm just glad we got to spend some time. Maybe next time, we could...." she said shyly.
We could what?
I never expected Morgan to be so forward with her desire. I guess it was a quality we both shared.
Christian let out a soft chuckle, "Patience. We certainly don't want any accidents to happen."
My lips curved up into a smile. I would have loved to see his expression right now, but unfortunately, there was no way of opening the door without them noticing.
I didn't hear Morgan reply, but I assumed she was blushing or nodding. After a momentary pause, I heard the clicking of heels.
"Then I'll see you soon. Don't forget to pick me up for the charity gala."
