The Dire Wolf

(Guard)"Here's your food, now eat" (Logan)"you call this food? this looks like rat dragged in dirt and thrown in hell and taken back out!". (Guard)"Would you rather eat nothing?" (Logan)"I would literally rather eat metal shavings than this" (Guard)"fine, don't eat it, but when you're hungry don't come crying to me".

(Logan)"When am I getting out?" (Guard)"not until you're bailed out or sent to the mines to work your bounty off". (Logan)"But I didn't do the crime, you've got the wrong wolf pal". (Guard)"Alright buddy, now you listen he-" (A booming voice comes from the warden's room) (Voice)"Alright, Dickwad! stop talking the wolf down, it wasn't him". (Guard)"Oh, and how do you know you old fuck!" (As the door opens from the warden's room the person behind it is revealed to be an old tiger) (Warden)"You don't talk to me like that boy! or I'll send you to the mines for the rest of your miserable life! and how I know is because this wolf doesn't have a scar the one, we are looking for has". (Guard)"Fine, but you beat this wolf you hear? he bites". (Logan)"I swear to Wulfr ill tear you to shreds!" (Warden)"Alright enough! I have a big headache, and I do not want to hear any yelling right now! Now shut your trap!".

(Warden)"Alright Logan, get out the cage, and take your gear. I already know what you're after, so I'll give you a tip." (Logan)"Alright then, thank you" (The old tiger looks at me in a impressed way as I take my jail garments off and my gear on) (Warden)"Alright, so, whatever this creature is didn't completely cover up its tracks, it managed to leave a small trail of blood leading into the woods. now I already know you know where the investigation site its, so if you kill this creature, and show me its head, I'll give you 1000 coin". (Logan)"Thats a lot of coin for such a creature". (Warden)"Yes, it is, we want this creature dead because it killed a highly valuable noble that would have given us the rights to his land, that would have allowed us to expand the city, and we couldn't find the deed to the land, and we need you to kill this creature and get the deed back. (Logan)"What makes you think the creature has the deed?". (Warden)"Yes, I was prepared for the question, the deed was located in a metal case locked to the noble's hand with binds".

(Logan)"Alright then, I'll kill this creature and find the deed". (Warden)"I wish you luck Logan and get that deed back!". (As I leave the building, I smell food being cooked from a building around two blocks down, and hot coals being burned in a forge three blocks down) 

(it takes about an hour to get to the investigation site) (Logan)"Hmm, so this is the place where a noble and three soldiers were killed, time to look around for that blood trail". (As I look around, I hear two sets of footsteps coming right towards me) (Logan)"Stop, right there, draw your weapon, you're dead". (Voice)"Well, no need to get hostile, we aren't here to harm you". (As I turn around the two figures reveal to be a boar, and a Raven) (Raven)"We just want half of the bounty for our work" (the raven said in a raspy voice) (Logan)"What? no way in hell! (Boar)"If you don't give us half the bounty, we will kill you and take the whole thing". (Logan)"Come at me then" (Boar)"you're bluffing" (Logan)"try me". (Boar)"Fine then, your funereal". (As the three circle each other, the wind blows, and wolves howl in the distance) (Raven)"Squaakkkk!!!" (The raven rushes in, to only have its legs swept and knocked to the ground) (Logan)"You guys, must not be the most talented warriors, no warrior would rush in leaving weak spots". (Boar)"Don't judge me just yet wolf" (dirt flies as the boar jumps and slams the ground with his hammer) (Logan)"oh come on, you can do better than just slamming the ground with a piece of metal, can't you? (Boar)"Rahhh!" (The Boar rushes in, and swings to only miss and punished by Logan) (Boar)"oOf!... ugh, you dumb wolf I'll kill you!"

(The battle goes on for two minutes until logan loses his patience) (Logan)"Alright, I've had enough" (Logan rushes in, and slides under the boar to climb on his back and knock him to the ground) (Boar)"Ughh... I-i thought Beron was watching this battle and was on my side!" (Logan)"Seems, like your god abandoned you Boar". (Boar)"You wolves and your two gods! Wulfr and Kiros can lick my boots!" (Logan)"you need to choose your next words wisely or I'm going to send your snot nosed self to your gods afterlife!" (Boar)"forget it, keep the bounty, just don't kill me". (Logan)"Get out of here, and if I ever hear you disrespect Wulfr and Kiros again, I will send you to them so you can face them yourself!".

(Logan)"Now that's delt with I can finally get on to following the trail". (Logan's great sense of smell led him to the den of the Fabled Dire Wolf) (As Logan entered the cave with his sword drawn, drops of water, fill the cave with noise, and the light is slowly shut out by the dark) (Logan)"Now, where is this Dire Wolf, if it's here, it seems to have overloaded my sense of smell, all I can smell is rotting bodies". (As Logan gets farther and farther into the cave, the smell of rotting bodies only gets worse) (Logan)"Ugh.. Thats not a good smell, oh man, yeah, bodies, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, I should search for the deed". (As Logan searches for the deed, he hears footsteps behind him) (Logan)"It's here" (As Logan turns around, He realizes it's no dire wolf, but a ghoul) (Logan)"A ghoul? no ghoul could kill this many people, especially to this degree, but it must die". (As Logan swings his sword, the ghoul dodges, and swings) (Logan)"oOf! that hurt, come on ghoul, don't make this hard". (The ghoul puts in effort, but ends up being killed by Logan in one swift strike)

(Logan)"Well, that's done, I gotta grab the deed and take its head" (Logan finds, and grabs the deed, but as he prepares the ghoul for beheading another figure steps out the dark, bloody, and angry) (Logan)"ooh shit..." (The creature, is revealed to be the dire wolf) (Dire Wolf)"rrrRAAHHHHHHHHH!!" (Logan)"fuck" (The creature charges, and grabs Logan before he can move) (Logan)"Shit shit shit" (Logan grabs his silver dagger and stabs the Dire Wolf right in the spinal cord) (Dire Wolf)"RAHHHH!!" (Logan)"oOf! gotta get up!" (Logan draws his sword and is ready to fight, the dire wolf grabs and throws a boulder at logan forcing him to dodge, then the dire wolf runs and kicks Logan in the ribs and to the ground) (Logan)"Ahh... that fucking hurts! oh shit..." (The dire wolf runs towards Logan once more, and logan dodges under the dire wolf's legs) (Logan)"I've only got my dagger left, I gotta make this count. (Logan lets the dire wolf run towards him, then dodges to its side and stabs it in the ribs with pure silver, Logan repeats this a couple of times until the dire wolf loses its patience) (Dire Wolf)"rrrRRRAHHHHHH!!" (Punt!) (the dire wolf punches Logan sending him towards the wall) (Logan) ("My vision is blurry, I can't stand, it's too painful I've got to throw the dagger into its heart, it's my only chance to live".) (The dire wolf runs towards Logan once more, to only have its heart penetrated by a silver dagger and falls to the ground) (Dire Wolf)"rrrughh.... (Logan)"Take that... you overgrown wolf...." (I said in pain) (Logan)"I gotta grab its head, and bring it to the Warden, then go to the healer". (Logan Grabs everything, and returns to Alterius) 

(Logan)"Alright warden, here's your dire wolf head fresh from the carcass, oh and the deed". (Warden)"Well, you actually killed it, and I had my doubts". (Logan)"Just give me my gold so I can go to the healer". (Warden)"Ah, yes here it is, and ill book a place at the healer for you, free of charge". (Logan)"Thank you". (Warden)"No, thank you" (Logan)"I should head to the healer". 

(As Logan opens the door, the healer greets him) (Healer)"Ah, Logan, is it? I have your room ready for you, it will take the rest of the night for you to recover". (Logan)"Thank you miss, I really need this". (Healer)"No, problem, I mean you are the one the gods favor". (Logan)"What?" (Healer)"Uh, Nothing, I'll be in your room in a few minutes". (Logan)"Ah, I need to take this gear off, my body aches".
