Ayaan didn't waste his time. He took a flight back home.
He arrived at Vashora by midnight and stayed in the hospital. Raj and Dia are working on the case. They are trying to nail the minister.
It might take some time, since dealing with the politicians is always a trouble.
Meanwhile, he just decided to prepare for the next quest. First thing, he need to clear the inventory. Sell what needs to be sold and upgrade his equipment.
He opened the system shop.

That is the state of most of the black iron swords. He didn't use them when dealing with the reavers, but when fighting the warlord, he did use a bunch of them. They lost quite a bit of their durability.
Even then, they weren't particularly of much use. Individually, they didn't do much damage. The fact that he had many of them was the only good thing.
But they were still better off than his combat knife.

This one was the least damaged of them all. He realized that it lost some durability and instantly opted not to use it. It had been a trusted weapon until now. However, he did realize that going forward, this might not be much use to them.

Mostly because of the Abyssal Smog corruption.
Before examining the latest look, he switched to the crafting channel. He wanted to see if he could make something out of these items and repair them. Particularly, the armor.
Only after he saw a bunch of options did he sigh in relief. The bone-carved armors that he obtained, the crimson shell fragments and Varrack's Crimson shell. These were the ones that gave him the options, after scrolling through them, he decided on one thing.

🎯 Abyssal Shard Launcher (Crimson Shell Fragment Enhancement)
The other side of the forearm guard houses a compact Launcher that fires Abyssborn Chakrams or sharp Brookborn projectiles. If ran out the chakrams, can be reloaded by the Chakrams forged in the same design as the Brookborn Chakrams. Hydro-Charge: When used underwater, the launcher gains extra velocity, making the shards strike with even more force.
🌊 Abyssal Flow
The armor passively increases movement speed when submerged. While underwater, the wearer can briefly activate Hydro Veil, making them harder to detect by bending surrounding light.
Ayaan was tempted to buy it directly. It uses the shells and fragments to create the armor back from scratch.
Of course, before he did that, he went ahead and checked the other items, just in case he would miss out on something great. But there was none. At least not from the bone-carved armor, fragments, and crimson shells.
They are going for some pretty penny and he even decided to sell the Bone carved armor to see if he can unlock more options with a higher number of coins.

He went back to check the crafting section, but the options didn't change.
He bought the enhanced Abyssal guardian armor.
Not much has changed. Its durability has been restored, the collapsible armguards have been repaired using the fragments, and the leather has been repurposed. It has been removed from the shoulder parts and the elbow parts.
Those were replaced by the Varrack's shell parts while the leather was used to make most of the body of the armor.
He put the armor aside and focused on dealing with the remaining loot.
