Invasion.

Currently, they were entering a city full of skyscrapers, with almost 100 times more people compared to Megumi city.

"This rich energy, no wonder everyone wants to live in a high-tier city. Here, anyone could become an elemental master with just several years of training, and that's without using any resources.

If a person gets affluent resources, it won't even take months," liam whispered to his friends.

Liam had already heard about these differences from everyone but now feeling them first hand his plans of going back at home to follow his father, becoming city lord were changing.

Harry and his friends saw a grand entrance gate, larger than any building in this city. "Skylight City" was carved on that gate. They were just words, but Harry felt as if he were looking into the abyss.

'These characters, they are putting pressure on my soul. No it's not my soul it's my consciousness or to be precise my will. They are trying to make me submit.

They entered the city but didn't stop there. After crossing the city, they halted after crossing a mountain.

When they passed the mountain, Harry saw large black walls covering several hundred kilometers.

Aiden with other students approached the majestic gates. Two guards stood outside, looking like ants. Harry could feel strong energy emanating from them. He didn't need to use his inspect skill to tell, they were powerful.

Aiden came forward. Both guards bowed in respect. "These are the new recruits complete the procedure," Aiden commanded.

They looked at all the students as if sympathizing with them. Harry frowned when he saw the guards' faces.

'Is there something wrong with this academy? Why are they looking at us as if we are cute pigs and they are sympathizing before butchering us?' Harry thought.

All the other students were thinking the same, and some of them started planning how they would escape if there was something wrong.

The guards came with some uniforms and gave each student one. The uniform was simple and basic robes, the only difference was its material and the numbers marked on their chests. The number seemed to be part of the uniform and yet separate.

Harry nodded and accepted his new uniform. His number was 3250. Liam, Tyler, and Blake got the numbers 3251, 3252, and 3253, respectively.

When the guard was about to give the uniform to Meru, Aiden stopped him and said she was a special acquaintance. She don't need it.

Harry and all the other students looked confused, even Meru herself.

"You will join the academy later, we won't be able to bring out your full potential, so someone requested to take care of..." Before Aiden could complete his sentence, a beast landed, roaring in the sky, the sound surpassing all barriers of space.

"Calm down, Bonu," a sweet voice echoed in the area, and a lady patted the beast.

It was so sudden Harry had to stabilize himself against winds and some of the students fell backward.

"Bonu? How could someone call this beast by such a name?" Tyler screamed to outmatch the beasts roar.

Although Tyler didn't fall down, he was the only one to call out his distaste, no other student had the courage, not even Harry he wouldn't risk his life.

The beast had a similar shape to a dragon, but the difference was that several bones were sticking out of it. It looked as if a demon had descended from hell.

[Bonemark Dragon, Level: Celestial Sage level 6]

Harry gulped when he inspected the level of this fierce beast.

Everyone was gazing at the woman. She was wearing a mask, but her eyes alone could kill a person nine times over.

Even that fierce dragon has been unnoticed in front of her.

"Clara, here's your new student," Aiden said to the woman, pointing at Meru.

Meru shivered when she heard that this woman was to be her new teacher. She was already terrified for being separated from her friends, and now someone like this lady was to be her instructor.

The lady looked at Meru and gave a warm smile. "You truly are related to our ancestor. Let's go, I am excited to see your potential," the lady said, patting her mount dragon.

"No, I don't want to go," Meru whispered.

"Are you sure? Don't you want to become strong to help your friends? Your body is special, and she can help you discover your true potential," Aiden explained.

Meru looked at her friends with a conflicted expression. Indeed, she wanted to help them.

But currently all of his friends remained silent because it was Meru's decision to make. They were entranced by the lady's beauty, nearly staring because she looked stunning in her tight, silky clothes.

"I will just help you activate your potential, then you can come back and join them," the lady reassured her.

This time, Meru nodded. If she could return, then there was no problem. But she was annoyed because his friends didn't even pay attention to her.

Now sitting on the dragon, Meru and the lady left the area.

"Where did she take her?" Harry asked as he headed inside.

"The Emperor Clan is hidden, no one knows their location. But don't worry, she will be safe,"

Harry didn't know much about clans and families, so he just nodded simply.

Then suddenly he remembered something

"I thought dragons has gone extinct" Harry asked.

There is a say "true dragons can't be tammed, so you can guess"

"The Emperor Clan is an ancient clan, and Meru has a remnant of their ancestor's bloodline," Aiden continued.

Harry looked at Aiden in total disbelief. Aiden knew what Harry was thinking, so he continued, "In the past, all humans lived together, but as the population grew, we lacked resources to cultivate.

Different experts emerged and mutually decided to create a different realm, which they named the normal world. We separated the realm from the normal world.

The cultivators protected normal humans.

In this realm, people continued to cultivate, but in the normal world, everyone gradually forgot about their past.

We still have the responsibility to protect normal humans.

This means any invasion from the outer world or any type of danger will descend in this domain.

Oh I went off topic, At that time, many experts chose to live in the normal world. Meru's ancestor must be from the Emperor Clan, and coincidentally she has high concentration of bloodline."

"Did someone attack the earth?" Harry asked because the man who claimed to be the creator of the system had mentioned something about different races.

"There weren't many attacks. There was one major invasion. We fought an alien race called the 'Dakis,'" Aiden said.

"Did we win?" Tyler asked.

There was a long pause.
