Another Impossible Achievement

The voice was loud and booming, Zero was annoyed because this voice was talking directly to his soul.

"Congratulations! Individual 'Zero' has created his first Divine Weapon!"

"Impossible Achievement 'Make the Gods jealous'... Complete!"

"Individual 'Zero' will receive a special reward for completing an 'Impossible Achievement'."

Zero was surprised that pushing his scythe to destruction would cause him to achieve another impossible achievement. As far as he remembered there weren't even "Impossible" achievements in the game. He didn't question it before, because he was familiar with the 'Sun Creation quest' already.

But now he remembered that the 'Sun Creation quest' wasn't even a hidden achievement in the game. There were a lot of hints on how to achieve it. So why was this voice calling it Impossible?

"Calculating...

FAILURE"

"Individual deemed unqualified for the reward... Individual hasn't reached the realm of gods."

"Solution found. Individual will exchange the incomplete "Devourer [Legendary!] for..."

"Decline!" Zero didn't even listen to the rest of the sentence. He didn't want to give away his scythe. It has evolved into something greater than what he had used for years on years! His hands itched to test out this change.

The voice paused for a moment and repeated the reward in a more majestic form as if to show that the reward was indeed way better than this incomplete legendary weapon.

Zero once again didn't let the voice finish and covered his ears as if he were a little kid. The voice even left a stutter seeing this. This was the most dumbfounding thing it had ever witnessed... other gods would kill each other just to get even the smallest reward from it.

Didn't this human also decline the system at first? He had to throw in some lowly being's life for that human to accept the reward!

Of course, covering his ears wasn't enough to stop the voice from reaching his very soul, but it was showing his stubbornness and unwillingness to cooperate.

The voice was silent for a moment, then a barely audible sigh was heard and the voice continued...

"Fine-" the voice said in a less monotone voice but quickly corrected itself, " Analysing... Error. Couldn't find anything the individual might want."

The voice of the universe fell silent once again. What type of human wouldn't have any desire? When it checked Zeros memories it didn't find anything worth speaking of. All he did was stare into a blank screen all day long!

The Voice of the Universe didn't understand why he would do that, but the answer was very simple. The memories of what happened on the screen were blocked from him. For some reason, this mighty existence couldn't, or shouldn't see the memories of what happened on the screen!

The existence however didn't catch onto it, since this never happened before even with the strongest of gods, this individual however was merely a mortal. So in the existence's eyes, Zero was just a weird dude who loved to stare into blank screens. This is one of the reasons it decided to give Zero the system. It had screens!

The reason was really that simple, yes.

So what should he reward him? More screens? The voice wanted to speak up and propose this idea but quickly stopped. This was way too silly to say out loud.

Zero couldn't get the original reward because he wasn't even at the Demi-God Realm yet.

An idea flashed in the voice's mind. He took out the original reward and sealed it up. He would give the original reward to Zero, and the seals would be lifted as he progressed to reach the Demi-God realm.

"Solution found!" It continued in the same monotone loud voice, "Individual 'Zero' will receive the original reward... as the individual progresses in the realms, the individual would unlock more of the reward."

"Reward Status: Satisfactory."

The voice that approved of the reward was a bit different from the voice that was deciding the reward... it's as if the voice of the approver was mechanical and didn't have a soul behind it.

A dim light appeared out of nowhere and landed on Zero's hands. The light fused into his hands. A window appeared before his eyes.

[Acquired Celestial Art of Creation 'Divine Smithing']

['Divine Smithing' is sealed. Level reduced to Host's standard...]

[Celestial Art of Creation 'Blacksmith' acquired.]

Zero was intrigued, he knew the game had a forging mechanic but he rarely used it. Finding tools and weapons was quicker than making them, that was the truth of the game. Nonetheless, he had to master it eventually to acquire an achievement.

He was wondering what the point of the system even was if he already knew all those skills even without the system forcefully shoving it into his brain.

While Zero was reviewing the information that the system shoved into his brain, he snapped back to reality as he saw the flame and light getting weaker.

The scythe was emitting a dim light, and the plasma it was emitting before turned into a solid blade. This blade consisted of pure divine energy. That is what Zero believed at least, but the system's mechanical voice proved him wrong.

[The Scythes blade consists of impure divine energy that the world border consists of. They are the same matter, but because of their unique properties the blade of the scythe is glowing green instead of being invisible.]

Zero nodded in acknowledgment of the information he got. It was good to know that the scythe could improve further. He would have to purify the energy the blade consists of.

He thought this would make the tool become a completed Legendary Artifact. The system kept quiet this time not stating the requirements to complete the scythe.

Zeros' initial plan was to break the world border and head to the cave of a parallel world, but it didn't seem that his scythe was able to do that just yet.

He had explored the cave of this world up to the 4th checkpoint, and he was too afraid to face the skeleton that resided there.

The giant octopus was still on his mind as he couldn't do anything against it. If not for that otherworldly God Ant he would probably be dead already.

He had to be better prepared in case such unexpected matters occurred again.

He heard something move behind him and turned around. It was Coal, looking at Zero without any particular emotion.
