Water-type Elite Four member Jimi called out from behind Pachira.

"What exactly are you trying to do? If you just wanted to catch a Legendary, you didn't need to go this far, did you?"

League laws don't prohibit catching Legendary Pokémon.

If Pachira had only caught Yveltal to become stronger,

She wouldn't have broken any laws - in fact, if she had succeeded, the League would have promoted her.

However, she had caused the entire population of Geosenge Town to perish.

This was something Diantha could not tolerate.

"Though you probably won't believe me anymore, I'll explain anyway."

"Save your thanks until after the battle,"

Diantha replied, her tone full of wariness.

Everyone looked ahead.

They saw Pachira standing with a faint smile, arms crossed over her chest.

And above her head perched a massive demon bird!

"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it,"

Feeling Yveltal's murderous aura, Jimi's face dripped with cold sweat as he shouted:

"Pachira actually had the strength to catch Yveltal!?"

Wikstrom and Drasna also gritted their teeth as they sent out their ace Pokémon.

But even so, they had no sense they could defeat their opponent.

"You've been hiding quite a lot these years, Pachira!"

Diantha said gravely.

She was almost certain that Pachira had been holding back all these years.

How could she be just Elite Four level?

She was undoubtedly a Champion-level trainer!

"Since everyone knows now, I'll stop pretending,"

Pachira said with a faint smile:

"I am the renowned Team Flare's second-in-command and senior executive - Pachira."
