He discovered that these green lights were converging toward the Valley of Origin, or rather, what remained of it.

After all, Hoopa Unbound's previous attacks had nearly destroyed the entire Valley of Origin.

But before he could finish speaking, a massive iron fist swung toward him.

The air crackled with a thunderous "boom."

The air pressure spread outward in rings, sending the debris of buildings previously shattered by Hoopa Unbound flying.

"W-what's going on here!?"

Steven, who had called out his Metagross to barely withstand the shock wave with Protect, was dumbfounded.

Too many unexpected situations had occurred, leaving his mind in complete chaos.

Why was he seeing a demon-like Pokémon fighting with Sun Wuming?

And the one fighting wasn't Sun Wuming's Noivern or Pangoro, but Sun Wuming himself!

Good heavens, are trainers this intense these days?

In Steven's bewildered gaze, that red and white beam almost instantly sent that demon-like being he couldn't even name flying to the other end of the ocean, becoming a twinkle in the distance.

"Quick! Over there!"

Sun Wuming pointed his thumb toward the Valley of Origin, then activated Sky Dance and chased after Hoopa Unbound.

Steven suddenly came to his senses, riding Metagross toward the Valley of Origin while muttering:

"Am I not dreaming right now?"

Halfway there, Steven suddenly remembered something.

Looking back at the direction where Sun Wuming had disappeared, he muttered to himself:

"That direction... he didn't blast it all the way to Alola, did he?"

Steven felt he had been shocked more times today than in his entire previous twenty-some years combined.

First of all, he couldn't understand why Diantha, the Kalos League Champion, was fighting against Malva, who was one of the Elite Four?

"Mr. Steven? Perfect timing!"

Diantha's face lit up when she saw him, "Please lend us your strength!"

Hearing Diantha's words, Steven was still confused about who to help?

The Kalos League Champion Diantha and Sun Wuming's disciple Marnie were fighting against Lysandre, the Kalos League President, and Malva of the Elite Four.

As the former Champion of the Hoenn League, he really didn't know which side to help.
