Chapter 19: Be Our Guest.

"My children they-… they will not be here anymore. Please your majesty please don't let this boy take what belongs to my children. It is they right. Please."

"Enough! I am sick of this. Hans has spoken my judgment and you and your child will be punished for the crimes accordingly. Also there is evidence that your son was kidnapping and drugging the victims from the slums and also using them and your daughter was bullying and torturing other victims too. As Hans has said before there are testimonies from the victims that have spoken to us and if you can show me that you didn't commit this crimes or other wise I suggest you shut the f@#k up and go died in your pitiful hole. In silence." His majesty said as he stood up from his throne as dark emanating power poured out of him fulling the room with hot thick air that made it hard to breath. The guards in the room were dripping sweating showing that they can't breathe. My throat burned at every breath also making my eyes water. I turn to look up at his majesty only to see him walking down the stairs slowing.

The steps rang out in the room as the hot air chocked us in to submission and flickers of flame sparked all around us.

' Shit! His losing it.' I thought

I knew that if he loses control of his power right now someone will get seriously injured. I look over to the small boy been held close by the Earl well he was on his knee protecting him. I knowing that the Earl had shield abilities that can cover or block powerful forces but I don't know if he can handle His Majesty powers. I try to walk up to the Emperor with the suffocating pressure making me fall on my knees. Looking over the room I see that all the servants and guards including the Earls family were kneeing on the floor as the Emperor came down from the stairs. He look down at the Earls wife with pure malice and hate that make the women and her children on the floor bow they heads.

"You a women who enjoy killing, stealing and destroying except me to forgive you and look over your crime that committed…Facsinating !how small minded people think today." He smiled a joyless smile.

"Your Majesty please your power it's to much!" I said pleading chocked voice.

The Emperor turned and regarded me. Seeing the state I was he look around the room and saw that his power was pour out to much. The he pulled back his heated power as the sparks still flicked in the air.

"My apologies ladies and gentlemen but you know how I am when useless people think they know everything." He said in a smiling detach tone.

Ciro(POV)

There are just some people that get on my nerves no matter how many time you seen them in time. Also realising that person will never change for the betterment of other is even worse.

Catherine Maxtim is one of those people. You can never tell it but this women is very cunning. She is the type of women that will make you think you are in control of everything and anything but that just one of her many tricks she loves using. She is the type of women that like to rule in the shadows.

In a different time I saw how far she would go in the name of power. Killing and destroying everything and anyone that stood in her way but I was a fool that never saw her and another had to pay for that. She was one of them that suffered…no! I can't go there. Not until everything is set.

I pulled myself out of my thoughts to see Hans struggle to stand up straight, that when I realised and saw that the Earl put up his shields to protect the boy from the full force of my power. So I pulled back my powers but not all of it I leave out just enough to show that I'm still in control of this room.

"Take them away! This meeting is done." The guards got up from they kneeling position and pulled up the Earls wife and children. With pleaseds and protests echoing out in the room I ignored them. Then the Earl put down his shields and stood too.

"My punishment Your Majesty…"

"Your punishment will be to teach that boy to be the next Earl in the house of Mars. Your own title has been removed and you are a servant in his home now. Obey him and if not death will be waiting for you." I said.

"I understand that your brother was the eldest between the two of you?"

"Yes he was Majesty."

"And is that why you wanted to adopt him cause you don't have any children of your own?" I asked

"Yes. My wife was married before and the two children she has was from her past marriage. Her husband was killed in an accident and left them with nothing so I married her after my own brother passed. it was required as nobles." He said in a low tone as he handled the young boys hand. I nodded.

"Your wife's late husband didn't died in a accident she killed him. Poisoned him is more like it. After she found out that her husbands money ran out she killed him. She thought if there is no money now at least she could kill him and take the death inheritance for herself and use it to grow he underground slave business. But the problem was I removed slave trade in which made things more difficult for her to navigate. That's when you came in. She was your territory and saw an opportunity to use your territory to continue the slave trade cause it was close to the slums and that you helped the poor people near that community and well you know the rest." I said explaining everything I found out about his wife.

"The only thing that was stopping her plans was that young boy. She knew that if you adopt him and make him your hier and not her own son then her plans would have fallen a part."

"Wait your Majesty, are…are you saying that my wife knew I didn't sleep with another women?" He said in a disbelieving tone. I rise my one eyebrow.

"Take the boy and go back to your territory. Don't make the same mistakes and teach the boy right you owe it to your brother." I said as I signal for them to be dismissed. They bow and left with the guard in the side door.

As the doors closed I turn and walked up the short flight of stairs and sat on my throne in a huff. I closed my eyes and smiled to myself.

"Hans, don't kill the Earls wife yet I have other plans for her. Also her children put them at Rivergate. It will do them some good to do really work for one in the noble life's."

"Yes, your majesty." He said in an uneven tone.

I open my eyes to see that Hans was not happy.

"How did you know it was her." Hans asked "There was no indication-"

"The way she was dressed. No person in they right mind would dress in that way without showing off something. The women practically look like a clown." I said as I laughed at my own joke but Hans remained silent.

Well I can't tell him that i knew her already and all her works in the underground slave trade. For years I have been trying to find the face behind that disgusting place and it proved impossible for many life's but then I remember something that someone said in a party about something called Red. So my search started there. At first I thought it was a place or a code that is used for magic spells but no. Then I found out that Count Sax was doing illegal mining work in his territory and taking the profits for himself also buying slaves. So we captured him and use his name to find out more about the underground slave trade.That when is where my plan began.

"You know Your Majesty if you had told me about what you were doing I could have helped you gather the evidence quicker." He said.

"I know but there are just some thing that just needs to be done alone." I said as I lean back and closed my eyes.

"I understand... Will you be questioning her Your Majesty?" He as in a cautious tone. I open my eyes and looked down at Hans who was showing a worried expression. I tilted my head to the side.

"Of course, She is our special guest and we must show her how we take care of our guests here in the Empire." I said as I smiled down at Hans. He huffed in frustration and turned to leave the hall.

"Well, I better prepare everything for her then. We don't want her to be disappointed."
