Chapter 2

Levine opened her eyes the moment she heard the chirping sounds of the bird. Her head felt heavy and she reached out to touch her head. The first thing she noticed was the decorations of the room she was in.

The room had metal handicrafts hanging on the light gray walls and an atmospheric floor lamp at the head of the bed. The floor was covered with a black velvet rug with simple geometric designs.

This isn't my room.

She moved her body slightly and she felt a strong weight around her waist. When she lowered her head, she saw a fair arm around her waist. The fair arm was hairy and it belonged to a man.

Levine felt a heart jumped to her throat.

Did her mother finally give her to a man?

She felt her heart ached as she thought of this.

She slowly turned her head and a man's enlarged face came to her view. She felt so scared that her heart almost stopped. The man's eyes were closed and when she lowered her gaze, she saw the man's tall nose and his thin beautiful lips.

She gasped- this man is too good looking.

But how on earth did she get into this room, on this bed, in this man's embrace?

She moved her body gently and felt great pain down there. She knew what it means.

She had a night stand with this man!

When the thought came to her mind, she felt thunder exploded and lightening flashed in her head.

She gently sat up in bed, frowning due to the pain she was feeling. She moved her body to the side, scared that she would wake the man on the bed up.

She needed to run! She had to escape!

However, the next moment, her deep blue eyes widened in shock. She stared at the reflection in the mirror. The girl in the mirror was clearly different from herself. The girl had long black wavy hair, her eyes were deep blue and her skin… was very fair.

This isn't me!

Who is this?

At this moment, she reached out to her head and memories that did not belong to her began to surface.

Mitilde Ashley was a maid in the palace. She had always been the one in charge of cleaning the prince's room and last night, she drank the alcohol in the prince room, thinking that it was an ordinary wine because she was feeling thirsty.

And then… She forced herself on the prince.

She could recall him asking her if she was sure that she wanted to do it with him and she said yes. She even tore her clothes and stood in front of him naked, saying, "Don't you feel arouse this way? Or you are not a man?"

As soon as those words left her lips, he pushed her on the bed and pressed his body onto hers. He lowered his head and whispered into her ear, his heavy breaths landed on her neck, making her feel extremely hot. "Remember what you just said"

He then cupped her breast and pressed his lips on her neck.

Then…then they did the thing.

Stunned, she turned her head and her gaze landed on the man on the bed. This man is… the prince of Silvrout kingdom- Prince Damon Salvatore.

Her eyes widened in shock, and her lips began to tremble in fear. She had just slept with the devious prince Damon. The man who had blood all over his hand from killing lots of people. The same man who ruthlessly killed a guard right before her eyes.

Only his name- Damon Salvatore, was enough to send chills down her spine.

But why does this plot seem familiar?

The names, the description all looked familiar.

Levine gasped. This was exactly the scene that happened in the book she read before she slept. Did she enter the book? If she go back to sleep, will she go back to her normal life?

What kind of book did I read exactly?

Levine felt like crying the moment she thought of this.

If she slept and never go back, will she have to continue her life as a maid?

She slowly shook her head.

She was sure this man was going to kill her if he wakes up and find her here. Also she even forced him to have sex with her and he didn't refuse her.

With difficulty and pain, she climbed down from her bed and looked around. She tore her clothes last night and there was no way she would be able to wear them back. She looked around and grabbed a black bathrobe, put it on before walking out of the room quietly.

Before she left the room, she gave the prince Damon Salvatore a last glance, silently praying in her heart that he forgets her when he wakes up, so he wouldn't punish her. And, because of what they had the last night, he should overlook everything and pardon her.

Averting her gaze from his body, she closed the door gently and left.

The moment the door was closed, the figure on the bed moved. His eyes shot open, revealing his beautiful gray eyes which was enough to pull one into them. His lips curled into a devilishly, sly smile that everyone was used to seeing, but no one wanted that smile directed to any of them. That smile was enough to make one's legs go weak from fear and excitement.

He sat up in bed, bringing the blanket to his nose, slowly sniffing her scent. Although she was a maid, she still smelt divine.

Damon Salvatore had woken up the moment she moved in his embrace. He could sense her shocked expression even without looking at her. He knew she was going to regret it the moment she woke up, and he was prepared to see her stuttering and begging for mercy the moment she saw him.

But what he least expected was that she ran away without even trying to explain to him.

Which made him feel disappointed.

He stood up from the bed and walked naked to the bathroom.

Little devil, there is more than enough time for us to talk about yesterday's event.
