Chapter Fifteen: A Night of Endless Love
The yacht swayed gently on the open sea, the sound of the waves crashing rhythmically against the hull. Above them, the sky was a vast canvas of stars, glittering like diamonds against the velvety darkness. The night air was cool, but the warmth between Isabella and Alexander made the world around them feel like a dream.
Isabella stood barefoot on the deck, her silky dress flowing around her ankles as she gazed at the moonlit ocean. She felt utterly free, as if she belonged to this moment—to the man who had claimed her heart in a way she never thought possible.
Strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind, pulling her against a hard, familiar chest. She sighed contentedly, leaning into Alexander's embrace.
"What are you thinking about?" he murmured against her ear, his breath sending a shiver down her spine.
She smiled, tilting her head slightly to look at him. "How perfect this night is."
Alexander's lips curved into a smirk. "It's only perfect because you're in it."
She turned in his arms, looking up at him. The soft candlelight from the deck lanterns flickered in his eyes, making them appear darker, more intense. He was breathtakingly handsome—the kind of man who looked like he had been sculpted by the gods themselves.
She reached up, tracing her fingers over his jaw. "How do you always know the right thing to say?"
He caught her hand, pressing a kiss to her palm. "Because when I look at you, the words come naturally."
Her heart swelled with love. "Alexander…"
"Yes, my love?"
She bit her lip, overwhelmed by the emotions swirling inside her. "Kiss me."
A slow, knowing smile spread across his face. "With pleasure."
His lips descended on hers, slow and deliberate, savoring the moment. Isabella melted against him, her hands sliding up to his shoulders. The kiss deepened, their tongues tangling in a dance of passion and desire.
Alexander pulled her closer, his hands splayed across her back, pressing her against him as if he couldn't bear to have any space between them.
The world disappeared, leaving only the two of them wrapped in the intoxicating spell of their love.
When they finally broke apart, breathless, Alexander pressed his forehead against hers. "You have no idea what you do to me," he whispered.
Isabella smiled, her fingers tracing the back of his neck. "I think I do."
He chuckled, shaking his head. "Not even close."
His gaze darkened with something unreadable before he scooped her up into his arms. She let out a surprised laugh, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Alexander!"
"Yes, future Mrs. Carter?" he teased, carrying her effortlessly across the deck.
She giggled, shaking her head. "Where are we going?"
"To make this night unforgettable," he murmured, his voice laced with promise.
Inside the Luxurious Cabin…
Alexander carried Isabella into the master suite of the yacht, the room dimly lit with soft golden light. The bed was draped in silk sheets, and the air was filled with the faint scent of roses and sea breeze.
He set her down gently, his hands lingering on her waist. "You are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."
Isabella's cheeks warmed under his intense gaze. "You make me feel beautiful."
"You are beautiful," he corrected, his fingers trailing along her jawline. "Inside and out."
She shivered under his touch, her heartbeat accelerating.
Alexander leaned in, brushing his lips against hers. "Do you trust me?"
"With everything in me," she whispered.
His eyes darkened with emotion before he kissed her again—this time with a slow, burning passion that sent fire through her veins.
Isabella let herself get lost in the moment, surrendering to the love she felt for him. Every touch, every whispered word, every lingering glance was filled with an intensity that made her heart race.
Alexander took his time, exploring her, worshiping her, making her feel like she was the only woman in the world.
And in that moment, she knew—she had found her forever.
Hours Later…
The night stretched on, filled with whispered confessions, soft laughter, and endless kisses. They lay tangled in the sheets, wrapped in each other's arms, their bodies exhausted but their hearts full.
Isabella traced lazy patterns on Alexander's chest, her head resting against his shoulder. "I don't think I've ever been this happy," she murmured.
Alexander kissed the top of her head. "Then I'll spend the rest of my life making sure you stay this happy."
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with love. "Promise?"
His gaze softened. "I promise, my love. Always."
She sighed contentedly, closing her eyes as sleep began to pull her under.
And as she drifted off in the arms of the man who had stolen her heart, she knew—this was the beginning of something beautiful.
Something everlasting.
