Chapter 11: Neo

He frowned at the prompts hovering before him regarding the upgrade ticket.

"System, there isn't any upgrade ticket beyond Conqueror," he asked, glancing at the Illusion Cloak's properties. Its ability to shield above a grade 1 item hinted at something beyond the EX-grade, yet there seemed to be no upgrade ticket for it.

His concern ebbed away as an explanation swiftly followed, putting his mind at ease.

[The System Mall is currently offering level 1 items.]

[To expand the selection, upgrade the mall's level.]

Rahul, noticing the smooth conversation flow, decided to seize the opportunity. "System, I'll name you Neo since 'Dimensional Travelling System' is a bit of a mouthful." No immediate response followed, prompting Rahul to mumble, "Looks like this system..." His sentence was cut off by a sudden prompt that appeared before his eyes:

[The host encounters difficulty.]

[The system is now named: Neo.]

Rahul couldn't help but smile as he witnessed his attempt succeed. "Now everything's become simpler," he murmured, a glint of excitement flashing in his eyes. "With Neo by my side, let's dive into this young championship. I can't believe I couldn't defeat Verma."

After gathering himself, he regained composure and murmured, "I've handled Neo. Now, let's extract all the information about my profession and talent." With that, he retracted Neo's panel and summoned the World System's panel, which appeared before his eyes.

Upon scrutinizing the panel, Sam fixed his gaze intently, absorbing every detail.

"Master said that everything comes at a cost," he muttered, rubbing his temple as he pondered. "I just don't know what that cost is." But before delving into that, he decided to check his main profession.

He clicked on 'Creator,' and a panel appeared, causing Sam's pupils to constrict.

"Sure, it's something," he muttered under his breath.

Main Profession: Creator [EX]

Possessing 100,000 mana points or 100 Divine Power, or the equivalent power required for awakening.

He didn't become disappointed at all; instead, he was ecstatic, his face radiating with excitement. The criteria to awaken the Creator profession indicated something on a whole new level. He realized that utilizing this at his level could potentially put his life on the line. Understanding this fundamental risk, he folded the Main Profession's panel, and once again, the Player Status panel appeared before his eyes.

Next, his scrutinizing gaze fell upon the sub-profession: Necromancer [S], yet he chose to ignore it, recalling that he possessed a Conqueror profession upgrade ticket. Next, his attention turned to Copy, which displayed an incomplete EX-grade.

His chin resting on his hand, began to ponder. Eventually, he came to the conclusion that he wouldn't use the upgrade ticket on the Copy talent. Understanding that, despite its incompleteness, it still ranked above the SSS grade, he deemed using the upgrade ticket a waste. With a click, he inspected the properties of the Copy talent.

Talent: Copy [EX grade: incomplete]

???

???

Rahul smiled wistfully as he glanced at the blank explanation. "It seems I can't use it for the time being." Pondering his situation, he thought, "I believe I need an opportunity to harness this Copy talent."

With renewed interest, his scrutinizing eye fell once more upon the Creation Authority. His previous life's memories stirred thoughts of his ability to create anything using this authority, yet this time, his lacking power seemed to restrict this function. Despite this limitation, curiosity got the better of him. He clicked on the Creation Authority, and a panel appeared before him.

Authority: Creation.

Awaken the profession to utilize this authority.

Grade: Still dormant.

Rahul now fully understood his profession and talents, which had been troubling him. As for the Summoning Authority, Rahul decided against delving into it, knowing its association with the Necromancer profession. He believed that upgrading it would also bolster this authority, so he left it unexplored and muttered, "The time has come for me to decide which gift from the beginner package to utilize."

With a swift gesture, Rahul summoned the beginner gift package once more, named "Neo." Instantly, the beginner gift package panel appeared, yet this time, it arrived devoid of any explanations.

[(-) Choose any 3]

1. 100k D.P [1000 F.P = 1 D.P]

2. Profession: Conqueror Upgrade Ticket

3. Talent: Conqueror Upgrade Ticket

4. Stat Limitation: Conqueror Upgrade Ticket

5. Illusion Cloak [Unique] [EX]

6. Nihility Trait [EX]

Understanding that he could only select three out of six options, Rahul contemplated his choices. His gaze settled on the first option: 100k Dimensional Points. To him, this seemed worthless as he held the opinion that he already possessed enough wealth to trade or exchange for whatever he desired.

The second option, the Conqueror Upgrade Ticket, perfectly aligned with Rahul's criteria. He aimed to maximize his Necromancer Profession to the EX-grade. he had previously grappled with understanding the hierarchy, finding EX grade superior to SSS grade, which had troubled him initially. Hence, he was inclined to choose this option, leaving him with only two choices now.

The third option, Talent: Conqueror Upgrade Ticket, was dismissed. His Copy talent was only one level behind the EX-grade, making this option irrelevant.

The fourth option, Stat Limitation, was a compelling choice. Based on the earlier explanation, this ticket would enable him to remove the stat limitations, making it a crucial and potentially game-changing decision.

With only one option remaining, Rahul preferred the sixth option: Nihility Trait [EX]. This trait encompassed almost all the functions of the Illusion Cloak [EX], along with additional skills.

Having confirmed his choices, Rahul selected three out of six options: Profession, Stat Limitation, and Nihility Trait, displayed on the Beginner Gift Package panel. As he made his selection, a confirmation prompt appeared before his eyes, prompting a moment of anticipation and certainty in his decision.
