Already, a party was gearing up to enter, and Rahul curbed his curiosity about the other hunters around him, standing a few feet away from the group about to venture in.
It didn't take long for a few individuals to notice his solitary presence at the dungeon entrance.
"Is that player planning to go in alone?" one remarked.
"Another death wish," scoffed another.
"Youngsters these days," someone sighed.
"Who knows? Maybe he's a genius planning to clear this dungeon alone. Haha," joked another, albeit sarcastically.
Rahul brushed off the sarcasm, laughing it off while waiting patiently for his opportunity.
As the entire party swiftly entered the dungeon, his chance had arrived.
With determination, he stepped into the dungeon entrance.
In an instant, he found himself on the first floor of the Undead Dungeon, a completely unknown place.
He focused intently on his surroundings, inspecting the area carefully.
Moving cautiously, he soon spotted five to six F-grade undead skeletons.
Activating his 'Absolute Concealment' skill, he unsheathed his sword and approached the skeletons calmly though his shaking hand betrayed the calmness.
With precision, he used the 'Darkness Intimidation' skill, causing all the skeletons to freeze in fear for a few seconds.
Seizing the opportunity, his grip on the sword tightens and swung the sword at one of the skeletons.
Instinctively, it raised its bony arms in defense, but his blade struck true, shattering its skeletal frame. The skeleton crumbled to the ground, lifeless and defeated.
Turning his attention to the remaining skeletons, he employed the 'Netherworld Soul Devouring' skill.
Instantly, the remaining skeletons turned into a pile of bone dust, withering in the dust of the dungeon.
"Hooray!" Rahul exclaimed, celebrating his first victory against the monsters. While he had the ability to eliminate all the undead skeletons using the 'Netherworld Soul Devouring' skill, he chose to defeat at least one with his own trembling hands.
He breathed heavily, feeling the rush of adrenaline coursing through his body. "I can 't believe six F-rank monsters, easily defeated by him." It was a thrilling experience for any beginner. Typically, F-rank players conserved their skills, saving them for challenging situations.
He knew that he can easily slay any F-rank monster but doing it in reality is different.
However, he also knows he has complete set of high-ranking skills. He possessed the 'Darkness Army' skill, allowing him to command any undead skeleton in the dungeon as long as he had enough mana.
Suppressing his emotions, he approached the loot left behind after the battle. Among the items, he discovered a glistening [Stat Crystal], smaller than a hen's egg. Despite its size, it was worth a hundred of F.C on the market. He eagerly pocketed his find, ready for the challenges that lay ahead in the dungeon.
Two minutes earlier, a prompt appeared before his eyes:
[You have defeated an F-rank undead skeleton]
[It dropped 1 F-grade spirt stat crystal, 2 gold coins, and a pile of bones]
In the present...
They dropped 6 stat crystals, 12 gold coins, and a heap of bones. He placed all the F-grade stat crystals and gold coins into his inventory, though it seemed he actually stored them in a storage ring.
He gathered all the bones in one place and utilized his 'Darkness Extraction' skill. He converted his mana points into Darkness energy, using the 'Darkness Energy' skill. An array formed, and all the bones began to assemble into a skeleton as Darkness energy flowed out of him into the array.
But during this process, he felt that his mana was being sucked out of him in exchange for 'Darkness energy,' and even his face became paler, feeling extreme weakness. He quickly took out a mana potion and restored his mana points, but he couldn't remove the fatigue and muttered, "I need to buy something to prevent this from happening."
During this process, prompts started to appear before his eyes:
[World System]
[You have supplemented Darkness energy to the undead skeleton instead of mana points]
[Undead Skeleton rank has been increased by one]
[Darkness Extraction has taken effect]
[Undead Skeleton changed into Darkness Skeleton]
[You can name this monster]
[Named monsters have a chance to grow]
A beautiful smile lit up his pale face, but he calmed his nerves and decided not to name this monster right away, or he was going to die from mana exhaustion.
A Darkness skeleton stood before him, its look blending into the darkness.
Its bony structure seemed to be the crystallization of darkness, and its eye socket had a blazing fire flickering.
"Now I know why the protagonist of every novel is obsessed with the system," he thought while checking the skeleton's stats, which made him suck in a cold breath of air. "Is this the effect of having a heaven-defying profession?"
[Darkness Skeleton: Can be named]
Rank: E
– STATS:
Strength: [60/80]
Constitution: [50/80]
Intelligence: [58/80]
Spirit: [40/80]
"Oh, the title changed!" He exclaimed despite feeling weak and stared intently at the Darkness skeleton with a frenzy expression, his fingers eagerly tracing the cold bones in excitement. The skeletal figure also wielded a bone sword, and its high intelligence was apparent; it seemed capable of following commands.
"Protect me if necessary, or hunt down every F-rank undead skeleton," He ordered, emboldened by his newfound skeleton, and decided to venture deeper into the dungeon. But before that, he sat down and started to restore his mana.
Region Vth
A grand villa emerged in the distance, surrounded by meticulously arranged trees and beautiful bushes, spanning approximately five acres of land. Inside one of its halls, two men occupied the space: one seated in a regal pose, leisurely sipping from a cup containing crimson-hued juice, while the other knelt before him.
"Master, we've located the young master of the Singhania family near the F-grade Dungeon. Our operative has been dispatched," the kneeling man reported.
"Excellent. If the opportunity arises, bring him to me," the master replied calmly.
"Yes, master," the man acknowledged before silently departing the room.
"Now our project has been officially launched," the man murmured with evident satisfaction, casting a weighty silence over the room.
