Chapter 45: Copy [EX]

"Master, I have fully acknowledged all the details of the Copy talent and have also perfected myself after devouring the appraised talent," Copy Talent's consciousness said.

"It's done!" he exclaimed excitedly and muttered, "Talent," as a panel appeared before his eyes.

Talent: Copy [EX]

An entity that gains consciousness by devouring the 'Ego' and 'Appraise' talents.

It has the ability to appraise and copy anything under or of the Rahule 'EX' rank.

Grade: EX

His body relaxed as a significant burden of 'incomplete Talent' was lifted from his shoulders.

He also hadn't taken proper rest or sleep after clearing the tower mission and hidden mission.

Many wondered how he spent a total of 60 hours in the tower, which was equivalent to only 9 hours in the real world, from 9:00 p.m.

"Sorry about that, I forgot to mention that the time exchange rate between the tower and the real world is 7 to 1 in hours, so he managed to clear all the tower-related missions by 6:30 a.m."

After completing the tower mission, he went to school, and his body became quite tired.

As he realized his talent for copying had reached an exceptional level, all his exhaustion vanished, and his body filled with energy. However, he still felt some confusion regarding the criteria for copying any talent.

"Hmm, there must be some criteria to copy any talent, right?" he asked as he remembered that when his Copy talent copied 'Appraise' and 'Ego,' those weren't registered in his World System's panel.

"What was the reason? I don't know, that's why I want to clear up some confusion," he whispered to himself.

"Master, previously, it was my unconscious attraction that urged you to copy. But now, I can copy any talent," his assistant replied.

"Hmm," Rahul said, realizing the main topic was approaching, so he focused his attention to avoid missing any details.

"As for the criteria? Talent links with the soul, so the soul must be strong enough to bear it," a voice sounded in his mind and continued, "Master, your soul can currently bear one talent to link with it."

"Oh!" Rahul replied, understanding everything.

"That means you can copy any talent and keep it in your data, but for it to register in my panel, I need to link that talent with my soul."

"Yes, Master. Everyone is born with talent. As for me, I will help you link the talent to your soul."

Energetic, Rahul's mind roamed freely, trying to decide which talent to link with his soul. However, no talent came to mind, so he decided to choose different path, "From today, remember to copy every talent you find unique."

"Okay, Master."

Rahul wasn't disappointed by the restriction, knowing that everything comes with a cost. He had already learned his lesson and wouldn't take anything for granted.

Perhaps his luck was good, as another prompt came, this time from Neo.

[Ding...]

[Upgrading completed]

[System gained all-knowing auxiliary function.]

"I'm so happy!" Rahul laughed, "Neo, doesn't that mean you already know everything?" But Neo's reply left him somewhat disappointed.

[Yes]

[You can only know the details as per the System's level.]

"Hmm, but it also has its own benefits," Rahul muttered, his disappointment fading after some consideration.

After dealing with all these matters, his eyelids became heavy, as there was nothing left to do that was exciting, and he also felt the effects of a lack of proper rest.

As he pondered, he fell onto the bed and soon drifted off to sleep as his tense muscles relaxed, entering chaos training.

Chaos Training

"I don't know how the mechanics work in chaos training, but it's superb as I feel energetic," he muttered, knowing this was a perfect place to upgrade his skills. He soon started his practice.

....

Meanwhile, Alok, who had killed all the Devil's Cult members except the leader who fled, along with his guild members, reached the Federation to report the incident.

Upon entering the Federation, he inquired about the criminal department, which had reported the cult members' location.

"Sir, that location was reported by the Federation Criminal Department," a federation worker replied, examining the documents.

"Report that all of them died except the leader, and if they get the location of the leader, message me ASAP," Alok calmly instructed.

"Okay, sir," the worker replied and started to inform them through the devices.

Federation Criminal Department

Kartik, Amar's father, led Criminal Department 1 and was present with his battalion.

[Ding...]

A member of the criminal department approached the leader and reported, "Leader, we received a report that the Ice Guild's leader killed all the members of the Devil's Cult, but the leader managed to escape successfully."

"Damn it," Kartik cursed, quickly regaining his composure, and ordered, "Continue."

"You also have to inform the leader's location if you find out," the member said slowly.

"Anyways, the cult's leader must have escaped to another region and catching him is almost impossible. Let's halt this operation for now," Kartik said unwillingly, knowing they were the culprits who tried to kill his son.

..

Kartik's House

During the school break, Kartik reached his house, had lunch, and entered his room.

He fell on the bed and started thinking about the previous day's events.

"Rahul is changing day by day, and I can intuitively feel that he is out of my league."

"Everybody is honing their skills, but I'm just living here peacefully. Aargh!" he groaned, realizing his lack of motivation to train himself.

"Let's hire an instructor for training," he thought and picked up his mobile, dialing a number.

"Dad, I want to hire an instructor," he said calmly.

"Is everything alright?" a confused voice asked.

"Dad, I want to become strong," he said, understanding that his father must be confused by his sudden request.

"Okay, I will hire an instructor for you," a happy voice came from the other side as he sighed in relief.

"Thank you, Dad," he said and disconnected the call, organizing a training routine, "I have to become stronger, or I will be left behind," as he felt it intuitively.
