59: "Damn You, Just Wait"

Returning to the space, Shen Hao felt at ease in the vast area. The space now had a height, width, and length of four meters, enough to fit a small off-road vehicle with ease. It provided ample space for Shen Hao to maneuver.

Lifting a 100-kilogram safe effortlessly, he placed the three safes side by side. With the Jinlin Sword in hand, he gave a light swing. As before, it cut through the high-strength steel material of the safe like cutting tofu, easily severing the top. The contents tumbled out.

The first safe contained one million dollars, thirty million Thai Baht, thirteen 100-gram gold bars, and a Desert Eagle pistol.

The second safe had a kilo of white powder on top, along with five hundred thousand dollars, twenty million Thai Baht, a fist-sized golden Buddha, a handgun, and two documents. One of the documents was a permanent land deed with a mysterious emblem of the Great Roc bird. The other was a land transaction contract.

The last safe only contained a USB drive.

"Damn, the poorest one is this USB," Shen Hao muttered. He knew it was probably full of important evidence, but it was of no use to him. He quickly took stock of his haul: 1.5 million dollars, 50 million Thai Baht, 1300 grams of gold, a golden Buddha, a kilogram of white powder, property deeds, and two pistols. Not a huge fortune, but still significant.

Now, Shen Hao had over three hundred thousand in his bank account, thanks to previous sales of ginseng and a yellow sandalwood treasure box. Adding up all the assets in his space, he had roughly 50 million Thai Baht, 930 thousand RMB, and 976 thousand dollars. In addition, he had 7.4 pounds of gold, one golden Buddha, six kilograms of white powder (which he hadn't decided what to do with yet), and various other items. He also had some furniture and books from Li Zhi-kun's study, which he had no immediate use for.

What Shen Hao really wanted was the demon pill, though. He had no idea of his current strength and had never fought anyone before, but he was confident in his ability to escape. This time, he planned to bring some remote-controlled bombs with him.

Back in his bedroom, Shen Hao took out a spare phone. This one was just for contacting Song Mupala, who used LINE instead of WeChat. LINE was the most popular messaging app in Siam, with a market share of 94%. Shen Hao quickly sent a message with just a question mark, and Song Mupala replied instantly.

"Boss," the message read.

Shen Hao was pleased with the quick response. "What are you doing?"

"Boss, I'm thinking about you."

"Good, I need something from you."

"Anything, Boss. Just tell me."

"I need a sniper rifle and some remote-controlled bombs."

"Understood, Boss. Any specific requirements for the sniper rifle's range or bomb's power?"

Shen Hao thought for a moment. "The sniper should have high power and precision. As for the bombs, the bigger, the better."

"Got it. I'll have them ready in three days."

Shen Hao was satisfied. "Perfect."

"Boss, I'm hungry."

"What do you want to eat? Just order something."

"Boss, I only want you."

Shen Hao was taken aback. His anger flared up. "Wait for it. I'll come for you in a few days."

"Boss, I'll be waiting. But you can't blame me when I'm dead."

"Damn, get lost."

Shen Hao quickly ended the conversation. He was irritated and thrown off by Song Mupala's teasing. His patience wasn't enough to handle such flirtation.

To calm down, Shen Hao's childhood friend, Wang Xiaotao, invited him to play a game of King of Glory. It had been a while since he played, and after the uncomfortable conversation with Song Mupala, it seemed like a good distraction.

After downloading the game, Shen Hao noticed his rank was Diamond, though he had only been at 4 stars last season. His friend, Wang Xiaotao, was a seasoned Diamond player, so he was prepared for the game.

"Shit, Haozi, how come you have time to play today? What have you been up to?" Wang Xiaotao asked.

"Just had some things to deal with. Time for you to ban heroes," Shen Hao replied.

Wang Xiaotao always banned Baili, the hero that he hated most. He could never stand playing with a teammate who picked it.

Shen Hao chose to play as Liancheng Wang, a support role, which surprised Wang Xiaotao. "There's a pro player in this game, so just follow along."

Shen Hao smirked. "Pro? I'm not that good."

Wang Xiaotao kept teasing him, but Shen Hao was happy to hear the praise. It boosted his ego a little.

The game went on, and Shen Hao performed exceptionally well, outplaying the opponent with ease. He ended up with 30 kills and only 1 death, leading his team to victory. His childhood friend, Wang Xiaotao, was ecstatic about the win.

After a few rounds of King of Glory, Shen Hao felt much better. A few days passed quickly, and it was time to return to Bangkok. He prepared for the next phase of his plans, where he would stay for about a month.

Upon arriving at the airport, he saw Song Mupala waiting for him, waving with a bright smile. Shen Hao felt a rush of warmth.
