Hey there, readers — whether you've been here from the start or just stumbled upon this story.
Today marks a turning point. Not the end of the journey — far from it — but an important moment of growth for me as a writer.
Edge of the Frozen Dawn is evolving. And to do it right, I'll be taking the next 7 days to step back and refine what's already been built.
When I first started this story, I jumped in with passion — raw, intense, but with a format that leaned heavily toward a visual novel or game script: lots of internal thoughts, direct labels, and stage directions. It carried the emotion, yes — but not always the immersion I wanted to share with you.
And now I know: the structure doesn't reflect the depth of the world and the characters I've created.
But let me be clear — nothing in the story itself is changing. The plot, the characters, the tension, the emotion — they're all staying. What's shifting is how I deliver it.
I'm revising the presentation to feel more like a novel — fluid, immersive, grounded in the moment — and less like a screenplay or storyboard.
Here's a quick example of what's changing:
Before:Veil (internal thought, resigned): Another day to forget. Everything feels so mundane. Routine, work, exhaustion… and then repeat.
After:"Another day to forget… It's crazy how everything can feel so mundane. Routine, work, exhaustion… then repeat," sighed Veil, resigned.
It's not just about polish. It's about pulling you deeper into the story, page after page, emotion after emotion — the way this world was meant to be experienced.
So during this week, I'll be refining the first 30+ chapters already released. One by one, they'll return, stronger, sharper, and more immersive — starting with Chapter 1.
Thank you for being here — even if you've never said a word.Your presence means the world.See you very soon,– Wolfy
