3. Do I know her?

Victor looked at us and asked, " Do you guys know each other?" People around us also stopped to listen.

" I don't know him, I just recognized those grey eyes which he inherited from his family."

' Oh, I know him, brother; he is the one who almost killed me.' I smile as I recall the incident.

Lucas has his focus on me, probably trying to recall me but even if I tell him, he won't believe me. Death is something that even our Powers can't stop, and according to Lucas, I should be dead.

Seeing that Lucas was still staring at me, I snapped my fingers in front of his eyes. He blinked his eyes twice and frowned.

" What?" He said in a cold and deep voice.

" Do you know me?" I ask, playing with him will be so much fun.

" Have we met before? Maybe when you are around 8 years old? Did you ever come to this side of the mansion?"

" Wow....hold your horses, Lucas. My sister was weak, and she definitely never left the house till today, and so she never came to the Mansion. She was weak in her childhood. Due to her illness, she doesn't have her Powers so she was never left alone."

" Are you sure?? I don't forget a face, and I am also sure that I remember that face." Lucas said while pointing his finger at me. He then turned to Victor and said, " Are you sure?"

Victor nodded his head and pulled me towards him without a word. He then started to introduce me to others.

I turn back to look at Lucas and give him my best innocent face and puppy eyes which I use on my brother.

' Game on Lucas; I am good at serving my revenge cold, so keep waiting. When I am done with you, you won't have anything to cry on for.'

" Bella, this is ...." I focus on others.

On the other side of the Hall.

" I definitely saw her somewhere, but where?

Where did I see her?"

A tap brings me out of my trance. I turn to look at Dash.

" Bro, do you plan on eating her alive?" He playfully raised his eyebrows.

" What are you talking Dash?" I snap at him.

" Luc, you are staring at her for at least 5 minutes now. What are you thinking?"

" She is lying Dash, no one lies to me, Okay. Find out everything about her."

Looking at Bella, Dash said, " Why would she lie about such a small thing, and even if she did, when did you start getting affected by such small things?"

I don't reply to him; good question, though, why am I getting affected?

Dash frowned and turned towards me, " Don't tell me, are you thinking about that girl again? How many times do I have to tell you that girl is dead, and I checked her pulse. She was dead. I know you blame yourself, but we were kids, and that game went out of our control. You need to forget it. It's been years."

I Grit my teeth; I should have never allowed that game. I should have never left.

They do look so much alike though. I look at Bella one last time, and I walk away.

Victor kept pushing me around to make introductions and this is making me so much dizzy. Finally, after everyone was done, we went upstairs. Apparently, only elders were allowed to sit at the round table, which is present in the hall.

And there he was, standing with a lit cigarette between his fingers. The man beside him walks towards me.

"Hey, I think I am the last; my name is Dash O'Brian. I have the power of fire. If you have any rare items you need, let me know. I can always get them to you."

" Hii, My name is...."

" Bella right, nice name and you don't have Powers right."

I nod my head, ohh the general of the king. I remember you, Dash.

" Is she born like that? What illness does she have that even your family Powers couldn't save her from this embarrassing life?" A woman came from behind and gave a smile which isn't a smile at all. Her name should be Everett Sullivan from a family of witches.

Victor introduced her and her sister as well, both had a very funny face when Lucas was staring at me. Everett's face was so red that I was afraid that blood would come out of her mouth.

Her sister Kianna is already engaged to Daylen brother of Cyan.

" Watch it, Everett," Victor snapped at her loudly.

" Calm down, Victor; I am sure Everett didn't mean harm." I roll my eyes at Jenny. She was Lucas's sister, definitely a definition of an innocent woman. Way too innocent for her own good.

Beside her was Alliance, who is her best friend, this girl is way too cunning for Jeeny. She is also Kimora's sister. None of my business though. I will just close my eyes.

" Alright, everyone cut it off; the elders are coming," Kai, brother of Liam, said as he kept watch from the window.

Dizzy Kelly, beside him, gasped as she looked out of the window, " Victor, look, your dad is also here."

My eyes go wide, I quickly turn to Victor and he is also having the same mental breakdown. How come Dad is here?

Both of us moved closer to the window, and there he was, walking right in without any fear. Does Grandpa know? I search for Grandpa and judging by his expression, Dad must have come unannounced.

This should be fun. Hehehe.

" Lose that smile, sister." Victor nudges me and shakes his head.

" Be careful; not everyone is Dad's fan here. Stay close to me, I don't want anyone to focus on you, got it?"

I nodded my head and saw my father step into the hall. We all move towards the railing and we take our seats.

" Shall we begin?" Elder Salvator shouts as soon as he settles down.

Dad looks up and smiles at us.
