Omar is in the center of the area, the place is a mess which he likes. He and a few men are waiting for the arrival of Gael. "Listen I need you three to wait patiently, this is a big opportunity. We can all make money, and make the power dynamic much more advantageous." Omar said to them.
Omar can't stand these Lurkers around him, they all disgust him. He is lying to them, and he wants them all dead and gone. He knows that they had to change some plans Ashly was brought in, he knows the risks.
Omar knew a lot of things, and he purposely changed the plans with the Lurkers. He knew that if he left them as unprepared as he could possibly make them. This would be the only way to make the Lurkers loosen up. I would make them unprepared enough so that they could be manageable for the Iron Deadlock in a fight.
The danger Omar is putting himself is worth it as he would prefer it than the amount of suffering the Lurkers caused him. He still remembers that day, and he can w feel the pain they gave him. He won't forgive them for torturing him, and causing him a lot of stress.
The amount of stress made him grow grey hair faster at their incompetence. They would shove themselves into danger, and die stupidly. He has saved their asses so many times from collapsing that he deserves better.
He can't run away as he is too valuable to them, they won't let him. They would kill him instantly if he tried as of the fear that he would betray them. He wants to live a more simple and normal life, but they don't provide that to him
Even with all the things he has accomplished they still treat him like shit. He has to hold in his grudge, but standing next to them make it impossible. He wants to say something, he wants them to feel the pain he felt.
"Hey old man, why are you so tensed up, are you scared or something?" One of them asked, and the others begin to laugh. "Look at this cowards, he is double our ages yet he is more scared than we ever would be. I can't wait to see those bastards die after the sun sets, we will be dominant."
Omar barely manages to stay calm as they continue to laugh. "I'm not scared, I'm just very excited for the future. I can already envision what will happen as I'm the smart one of the gang." Omar says as he stays calm, he smiles as they are all dead.
After a while Omar can finally spot Gael and some old men approaching. "Well by the looks of how many people you've brought, I don't think you trust us." Omar says as he can count almost quadruple the amount of people he brought compared to himself.
"It's a bit intimidating which is not something we are here for…or is it?" Omar says as the three Lurkers reach for their guns. "Now now, if you three show your guns to them, I'll have you three killers." Omar turns to the three men.
"We are making an important deal that will make everyone's life much easier!" Omar yells out at them and they let go of their guns, Gael smiles at this.
"I can see that you have these boys on a leash, now that's what I really like to see." Gael then glances at the elders who look away.
"Well I'm not their leader so I'm not really controlling them. I'm just a smart man who works with them, but it so happens that I was put in change." Omar then turns back to face at Gael with a smile.
"Our boss didn't want to come here as he was skeptical. I'm very sorry if this broke some form of trust that we were building, but don't worry about that. Sure I don't have control, but I'm still their most valuable man so this evens out. I hope that it makes it up to you, I don't want you to feel unsafe." Omar says with a fake sense of kinship.
"Oh don't worry it's fine with me, it's annoying but I'm fine with it. This is very must as even as it could possibly get, don't you agree?" Gale says as he gets off his horse, and shakes Omar's hand.
"You see as the leader of my gang, if I was to die then things would go terrible for us. I want it to be as troublesome to you people as well so that we can build trust." Gael says as he is lying to him which he is enjoying.
"Oh yes of course, I understand what you're saying, and I fully agree with you. I want this to build a great tolerant relationship after this meeting is done. We don't need to fight as a loss at this scale would be troublesome even to the winner." Omar says as Gael backs away a bit.
Gael smiles. "I already like you, and we barely meet, let's hope that it stays that way. Honestly I hope that we can meet afterwards as well, and build bonds." Gael says lying to Omar's face with a fake smile.
"Alright then, I want to bring in our items that we will be using for our negotiation." Gael says and almost immediately Ashly, Daniel, and the huge sum of money were brought forwards. They are brought at the center, and unlike the money they were thrown down.
Omar and Ashly lock eyes, and she knows what will happen soon, Omar nods with a smile. The money itself is big enough to be a whole different negotiation.
From within one of the buildings, Lucas and Amir spot the two. "I'm glad that they are mostly fine, but the way they just threw them it's-" Amir stops himself, and he can see Lucas grinding his teeth. "I really want to free them right now Lucas."
Amir turns to Lucas. "I can contain myself physically as I know what consequences we are going to face. It's the fact that I'm speaking out my mind that could be troublesome." Amir says as he backs away.
"Don't worry I feel you Amir, I too want to free Ashly. Well more so afterwards she is going to be saving me. After this is all done I'll just stay out of the violence, and find my parents. I want Ashly to do so as well, but she is her own person so who can tell." Lucas says as he keeps on looking at Ashly.
"Yeah I'm also planning mostly the same thing with Daniel. I just want us both to live a simple, and quiet life away from this whole thing. You know we are growing appreciative of living a uneventful life as of now." Amir says as Lucas smiles at him.
"Omar listen to me. We have to team up together, I know that we haven't known each other. I'm not implying that we should combine both gangs, or to combine territory. That's too much to ask for in our hopefully first none hostile negotiation. I want us all to be more like friends of some sort, to accept each other's existence." Gael says proudly.
"Oh well I did think for a bit about the combination part over the month. It's a bit too early for that so instead I'll make sure our boss tolerates you all. I want our gangs to be in a great relationship as much as you do." Omar says as he knows that Gael is lying already.
Gael smiles. "Yes you're right it seems that we are comming to an agreement already. I never thought that there would be a reasonable person within the Lurkers."
"Yes it was true, the first few meetings were more barbaric on our side. I'm sorry for the reputation gained because of it, and I hope that we can leave it all behind from now on." Omar says.
Omar then turns around. "We are making great progress, I want you all to show them we aren't here to fight. I want you all to keep your hands away from your weapons from now on." The Lurkers look at each other with confusion, but as they look back at him he is being serious.
They grind their teeth, and raise their hands away from their guns. "This right here is our first sign of trust and confidence." Omar says.
Gael looks at the elders and sighs softly. "I want you all to do the exact same." Gale then focuses on Omar. "This really is the start of a new friendship." Gael says as he turns around, and begins to walk away. Omar does the same, but a click can be heard.
"I'm sorry, but something like this could of never happen." Gael say and immediately one of the elders shoots, but Omar knew that this was going to happen. One of the Lurkers already ran in front of Omar, and took the shot for him
Omar knew that this was never going to work out so he specifically took those who were somewhat loyal. The ones willing to sacrifice themselves for the gang, and he isn't disappointed. He told these three that his life was in danger, and that they should be prepared to do anything to save him.
Immediately after the Lurker falls down the other two shield Omar. "You're too naive Gale, you thought we trusted you?" Omar can be heard laughing, the elders begin to shoot at them, but the two others shoot back.
Omar keeps on laughing as he makes it behind a building. Although he is laughing he is scared, he is shaking and sweating already. Some of the elders died, but his two remaining bodyguards are dead as well.
"I don't think you should be laughing as I still have some men around the corner." Gael says as the elders begin to walk closer to where Omar ran to.
"Oh are you sure?" Omar says as then some men are shoved outside the buildings, the are all dead. They have bullet wounds, and they were Gael's men send earlier just in case of a fight. "I knew you would try to ambush us, and prepare early so I did it much earlier. We are the ones ambushing you Gael, you should surrender as I'm the clear winner!" Omar yells as his heart is beating fast. It's cold outside yet he feels very hot, the snow won't help him cool off either.
